  • Glenn, let me boil it down for you. At some point in our history, probably Roe v. Wade, the law elite changed their collective minds from the minority will have an equal chance to win to the minority always wins. You can apply this to every issue of our time. Think about it. Upside down.

  • One additional note about my post. I should have made more clear that Netflix was never a Rush sponsor to start with. Rush was having enough problems keeping his real sponsors and then the left was making up more stuff. Do your research (Search rush and netflix) and see how nasty the bogus fantasy Rush/Netflix breakup got last year.

So, I could see at the very least, how Rush might pick Netflix to be the **** of his joke. He was just a couple of weeks late doing it. The one year anniversary of him losing Netflix (NOT) as a sponsor was a couple of weeks ago.

  • Tinfoil conspiracy time. What you’re missing here is the real “why” of Rush’s Netflix gambit. Rush screwed up in my humble opinion and I’ll tell you why.

I was listening when he delivered the news. Immediately I went on a news search and found nothing about Netflix’s prices going up. At that moment I was prepared to tell them to go take a hike, because they do act like a pack of NY libs anyway.

What Rush *could* have done was to issue a “disgronifier” notification and then launch into his joke. That way Rush listeners would have been included in the joke. His prank would still have worked as intended and it would have had the same impact.

Instead, he told it for true to one and all. That was his mistake.

Here’s what I think happened… As you know Rush does not believe much in coincidence and in this case I don’t either. After doing a leetle research here is what I found out…

A year ago, can you believe it, Rush went off on Sandra Fluke, Fluck, whatever. On March 6 there was a firestorm on the left to get his sponsors to quit him. Ok…

The left identified Netflix as one of his advertisers and threatened to stop their subscriptions if it didn’t drop Rush. Space here stops me from expanding. But in short it was all made up. Even the Netflix denial on March 6 may have been bogus.

I believe what Rush did yesterday was “payback” to Netflix and I think he had it planned for year. His mistake was not letting us in on the joke at the start.

  • I caught a snip of Glenn talking about this today. He knows as much about modern wrestling as I do which is el zippo. However, as a lad I did dabble in local Saturday AM wrestling out of Birmingham on the telly. My favorite two characters were Tojo Yamamoto and Johnny Long. I think they were some kind of secret team. Johnny Long was the real good American blonde hero of the two.

Here’s the deal. If you are much younger than me the name “Tojo Yamamoto” won’t mean anything to you….but back in the day that was the worst possible name to have in the whole wide world. Tojo was a surly, fat, Japanese guy who could have been the twin bro to OddJob in Goldfinger. He also had a rude way of speaking about the good old USA too. That always got the fans fired up.

People FLOCKED to see Johnny Long beat up Tojo Yamamoto. They loved to see him get whipped. Week after week. Never got tired of it.

Likewise both Teaparty and non Teaparty folks alike will FLOCK to see the despised Jack Swagger get his time after time. He may gain a following from libs….but mostly it’s going to be Teaparty sympathizers that will thrill when his fake blood flows.

It’s a win win for the wrasslin’ folks. It’s a profit deal. Comic book stuff. And Glenn and his machine is playing right into their plan with all of this free advertising.

  • In other news… Scott Brown makes his debut on Fox Wed. nite on Hannity. This after the likes of Sarah Palin and the chubby little analyst who used to work for Clinton are let go.

Surely, the change to moderation on Fox is in response to a good chunk of conservatives just walking away after the election. They are trying something…anything…to reclaim market share including trying to entice moderates to their operation.

Glenn, you truly are the last best hope for evening viewing by conservative mankind. Now is the best time yet to jump in and reclaim the lost and wandering conservatives. Fox just officially threw them overboard. Pick up your staff. Cast your net. Roll them bones! We’re a scattered flock out here waiting for the man with the massive Twinkies to bring us on home!

  • The Blaze has good stuff…and it has its share of crap. This is a crap piece. It starts off “Fox Hosts Get Into Heated Exchange…” Attention theblaze folks…I DON’T CARE!!!”

Before the election I HAD to scour every source I could find to get the newsy bits. After the election I don’t. Therefore I don’t care for your tabloid type pieces or your news political Kabuki pieces either.

I don’t care who got mad or glad. I only care for real stuff that is important. Tell me when a politician “does something”…not what they “think” about doing something. I’m done with that. I’m back less and less often these days.

  • Hello author Mike Opelka – You said you would stay tuned. Thanks. Saves me the trouble. I guess I need to get out more. Before the Beck dust up, I had never heard of Current TV.

This silly sale goes directly to the liberal psycho intransigent mindset. Gore came within a gnat’s **** of being our president. Even after this latest debacle he’s still the hero of the republic.

If you recall, after he lost the election he went certifiably nuts. Dissed Bush when he stopped by his house, grew a beard, tossed his old lady, and got fat.

Then he invented carbon credits. Whatever that is and got rich. Now he’s getting rich from big oil. And still he is the hero of the republic.

Until conservatives learn to “just say no” to brainless libs…to just dismiss them like “ignernt” children, it’s always gonna be a circus… Watching libs be libs was fun for about the first four times, (Hint hint Hannity) but now we know who and what they are. Time to just say no and walk away. Then go do the right thing.

  • Never to happen. Mr. B’s timid reactive style of consistently leading from behind killed the 2010 conservatives. My current theory is that Washington is even more broken than normal folks can wrap their heads around. Sex, drugs, and rock & roll. A drunken democrat orgy. Why nix the fun with a new leader?

  • I watched with more than usual amusement as Beck went completely off track last night with his **** piece. I replayed it for the wife.

Beck…and Rush have me nailed as to my tastes at this festive time of the year. After nearly five years of sifting the news for the rare nuggets…well, after the election…I just don’t care any more. Beck and Rush agree…completely. I still do some Rush and a bit more Beck, btw. Is that about the same as you? You hear the news guys say, “Obama repeals 6th and 7th amendments today” and you reply to the wife…”Hey, what we eatin’ tonight??”

Nowadays I emulate Alfred E. Neuman.. “What? Me worry?”

However, I expect, at some point I will start worrying again. But not just now. If you want to continue worrying, go ahead. The left could care less.

In the meantime I write fiction. That’s my new gig. I wouldn’t expect more than four people to read this post…but just in case you do and you are the least bit interested in fiction written by a conservative, jes visit Amazon books and search “cowchip/al”. That’s Cowchip Alabama. Hey, Beck isn’t the only one who writes, you know! I may speak to him about visiting Cowchip one of these days. He’d be right at home!

  • Conservatives are of a single mind these days and one of the things we agree on is that guilty as it makes us, we’re just tired of the whole darn thing. It’s OK to take a little time off right now. All you need to do is listen to our favorite talk yakkers. They don’t mind a little time off…some even on their shows these days. So it is with glad tidings and good cheer that I give you this. If only ONE person uses it, then I will have done my good deed for the day. http://www.yesterdayusa.com/ … It’s old time radio 24 hours a day. No charge but they do take contributions. This is the BEST time of the year to tune in because they are running their Christmas shows. I have been listening since the late 80′s. Christmas on YUSA is the best of the best. This is NOT an ad. It is meant as an aid to conservatives who think like me. Gosh! I wish Glenn would pick this one up and contact Bill Bragg who invented YUSA. He’s the kinda guy Glenn has been looking for! You’ll see.
