Need to add two more categories: working Black Friday or not working Black Friday. I will be working otherwise I would sleep in. The deals aren’t that good, you can get better deals before Christmas or even earlier this week before Thanksgiving. Sales started on Monday for you early bird shoppers. Plus with online who needs to leave the house anymore.

My mother told me about the allegations against Woody Allen when I was old enough to understand we have always boycotted his movies in this house. But I went to an Art School where he was celebrated so I have seen some of his work. So not only is he a monster but his movies are awful and he is the worst one in them.
I think it is terrible that guys like him and Polanski are embraced and celebrated in the film industry, But not unsurprising.

    Thanks Blaze,
“To all those who still are willing to brave the crowds or who will be working retail, good luck.”
My shift starts at 11:30 pm tonight, opening. I’m going to need all the luck and caffeine to get me through to mid morning.

It depends on the company most places I’ve worked at you don’t really get a choice. If they are nice you can at least request what part of the day you start but you still have to work the holidays. After Halloween retail enters a blackout period for the employees, they cannot request time off. Employees may make personal request for time off to the manager but it is difficult and usually doesn’t end up happening. It sucks, and makes you resent the holidays. But we all got to work, so please shoppers remember we are here for you. Show some patients and holiday spirit and it will be returned.

Awe poor kitty just needs a home. I’d take him if he’s like the cat in the video with the kid. If he is feral they will probably just fix him and dump him back in the neighborhood like they do here in California. So much for the Humane Society.

Okay, lets think about this. now every culture has a great flood story which would wipe out most dinosaurs if they were still around. The only dinoaurs that could survive that would be flying ones. What do humans stories of dragons have in common with dinosaurs, they lay eggs, they fly ( the ones that survived the flood.), they are meat eaters. Now the fire breathing part is up for debate still.
The other half of the old stories is that humans sought them out to kill or to tame. Now they could have hunted them into extinction, much like man nearly did with the buffalo, and many other animals. Why is this theory any crazier then Darwin’s theory. they are just theories, people.

That’s terrible that poor guy. I sadly live in CA not Oakland but close enough to drive there. I hope the resturant stays open and prayers go out to that waiter too. When things calm down there and providing that the resturant is still there. I will go to that resturant in support, and order their carmel pudding with sea salt and whipped cream for dessert.

I know I can count on liberal outlets to have a one-sided view, too. Maybe if everyone took a moment and tried to see the situation from both sides they’d find compassion for both sides and uderstanding. It was a tragedy. A young man is dead and another man has to live with having killed him.
But no, the media and politicians are doing everythng they can to divide us. They had a trial even though they didn’t have enough evidence to get a conviction. In the hopes of preventing these protest, I’d call this an epic fail. This lynch mob is blind with anger and refuse to see the evidence and the left is using it No crisis goes to waste.

It’s really common for Hollywood to get adults to play teens. the reason for it is so they can get around having to have tutors for them on set, added expense. And they can only work so many hours as a minor which means shorter days, yes. But the completion of each episode would take longer, which means more money.

Hope she gets well soon, and prayers for her and her family. I may not like her husband but I wish them no ill will. Malice towards none.

Weddings seem to bring the worst out in people anymore, how sad. It’s all about how much is spent on the ring, dress, food, etc… It’s no longer important that they what to pledge their love to eachother before God and their loved ones. We need to make weddings less about expense and things and more about love. Love of God, husband and wife, family, and friends. That is more valuable and memorable then things.

Common sense is lost on most liberals. The lemmings you see are being told lies, that they are just eating up. Their leadership is telling them that this legislation will get rid of all abortion. And instead of reading it for themselves these lazy and or gullible people are buying the lies.

That saying is very appropriate for these insane times. Our world is turning upside down, right is wrong, wrong is right. Where is the American peoples line in the sand? We need to start standing up together non-violantly, of course. We most not be the first to act with violence let them do that and bring about their own demise.

Looks like that Doris Day movie The Thrill Of It All, Maybe they are working on the remake of it.

That’s amazing, I wish my parents had done that for me. I can swim now but it took years to get over that fear of water. When i have kids I will be taking them to infant swim classes. Beat the fear and instill confidence.

Awe that is so sweet he’s just so concerned about the existence of the GOP. As for having two parties I’m sorry to tell him it hasn’t been a two party system for some time now. Don’t worry Charlie there will be another group that rises from their ashes. I pray that it’s based on principals, and the Constitution. Then we will have a two party system once again. But let us this time heed Washington’s farewell address and not be tied too much to parties of any kind.
