  I agree with everything you”ve said, however I believe that the small proud remenant will gradually turn things around. In order to prevent the takers from ever doing this again, I believe we must get voter ID passed in every State. Let’s start now.

  They need to stick to their own restaurants and make others aware that the restuarant is for gays, as with bars. Guess what….then you can turn down straight groups (which they would appreciate).

  I’m a Christian and will expect a refund of all my charitable contributions of which December’s 2012 sizable contribution will be my last. I will not ever contribute again and I belive most christians will follow suite.

  The differences in charity between secular and religious people are dramatic. Religious people are 25 percentage points more likely than secularists to donate money (91 percent to 66 percent) and 23 points more likely to volunteer time (67 percent to 44 percent). And, consistent with the findings of other writers, these data show that practicing a religion is more important than the actual religion itself in predicting charitable behavior. For example, among those who attend worship services regularly, 92 percent of Protestants give charitably, compared with 91 percent of Catholics, 91 percent of Jews, and 89 percent from other religions.

  I agree and I think it’s time (with an 8% approval rating) that they be fired or resign.
  In the real world, if you are not able to fire someone because of contractual concerns etc….you ask or force their resignation.
  If enough of us hit the phone bangs and request resignations and keep it up until we get a resignation, we could do it.
  Enough is Enough……start calling, writing and screeming.
