Yes…..The government policies that got them here are very wrong….People of a Christian nation comforting them while they are here, is not.

One can oppose the government policies that created the mess and yet still follow Gods rule of law, and help these kids….It really is not a conflict of interest. Have Christians now decided that doing that which is right, should be wrong because their political foes might agree with them? I hope not.

Exercising what God commands of him as a Christian, is somehow defecting to the other side? What, Gods side? You can be against the governments border policies and still help these refugees. Maybe if we would have spent a little more time nation building, in our own hemisphere, instead of screwing up the middle-east, we wouldn’t have this problem.

    Leviticus 19:34New International Version (NIV)

34 The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God.

All doctrines of Christianity (the belief that Jesus was sacrificed for our salvation and was resurrected) Believe in the doctrines of men….Please show me the “Doctrine” In which God himself ordains.

As a Christian, Beck himself has little choice. He can be against Government policies that allowed this. The Bible is pretty clear on what he himself as a citizen has to do. Bless you Glenn.
““‘Cursed be anyone who perverts the justice due to the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’”

    Deuteronomy 27:19 ESV

““Then I will draw near to you for judgment. I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, against the adulterers, against those who swear falsely, against those who oppress the hired worker in his wages, the widow and the fatherless, against those who thrust aside the sojourner, and do not fear me, says the Lord of hosts.”

    Malachi 3:5 ESV

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me,”

    Exodus 22:21 ESV

““When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.”

Simply amazing…This is the only site, that will even post a realistic comment about Mandela…I don’t mean hateful either, just try and post something truthful….If it is not adoring….It’s gone!

  • December 5, 2013 at 8:41pm

I can not believe the amount of people, on other sites practically worshiping Mandela. An admitted communist, terrorist and even though he helped his people the in turn destroyed the country. Amazing.

I am for most of what the Tea Party stands for…Lots of them just don’t seem to understand, if you want change you have to win elections and to win elections you need votes, to get votes you can’t go scaring the bejezus out of people with candidates that want to legislate their morality on others. To me thats just as bad as the Democrats wanting to pass guns laws or regulate the hell out of business. I hope the libertarian wing of the Republican party really comes to the forefront placing civil liberties above all else and keep government in it’s proper place. Otherwise I am afraid you are very correct in your assumption.

The first thing you have to do if you want change is to WIN elections. Personally I would like to see the Libertarian wing of the party expand greatly. I could never vote Democrat, because I don’t want a huge centralized government limiting personal freedoms. Same thing goes for social conservatives that somehow can’t see they also want to use government against people. In my mind the main function of the Federal government is to protect from without and to stay out of state and local interests.

To have change we have to win elections….People like Tod Akin (whom I wasted my vote on) are not going to win elections for us. We can either commit political suicide or win elections and exact change in America….As for social liberal goes…I don’t want the left or the right in my personal business…

Without government dependency there would be more family dependency….Not government dictating family values.

  • February 22, 2013 at 12:59pm

“Marriage is the most important institution to civilize young people. I make divorce a lot more difficult,” she said. “Liberals want to destroy the family.”

I think Ann is missing the Libertarian point just a bit. If people were less reliant on government, that would help families and marriage. Liberals are destroying the family, but it is being destroyed because the more people can rely on government, the less they have to rely on the family unit to survive.

Throwing everything out back to about 1900….Starting over with what we have learned does work and nothing more would be good….Yea, lets go with that….

Very true, without the bibles guiding principles and possible damnation. My life may have been a bit more colorful, but I am very certain not very moral at all. I have done my best to contain myself, failing on occasion the way it is. I can see what no limits would have meant.. Jeez

Good deal….I hope all of the manufacturers and retailers continue to stick together. It will have a much more of an effect. I hope they all work together on educating the public also.
