  One thing Mr. Bloomberg is right about is the paradigm HAS changed. The left won in November and is in charge of almost all facets of the country. The “I want mine” society is growing every day and will support their government for as long as the entitlements keep flowing. It’s time conservatives (and I’m one of them) will need to learn to survive within these constraints, because I only see it getting tougher. People no longer want a “hand up” instead, they now prefer a “hand out”.

  I have only one simple question . . . after this comment. Look at all the changes that have already taken place to our beloved country. God is no longer welcome almost anywhere in our nation. Immorality is the new religion that is shoved down our throats daily; on TV, through the new media, our government and our institutions of higher learning. Our heroes have become chameleons that change based on who they are trying to impress at the moment. These new shallow sages lectures us on what’s right and what’s wrong, and what is and isn’t acceptable behavior. Our new “holy land” lies west and is called Hollywood; now the land of the “new gods”. Yet year afte year we keep electing these people back in office and, with each year we get a little closer to the precipice. My simple question is, why? Why do they stay in power? It’s no wander we are in the shape that we are in. God no longer lives here. I wipe for my county and my fellow country men.

  Good example of why the GOP will never be able to hold control of government for an extended period. The days of Reagan sadly, are truly over. This “new” GOP is only too anxious to appease their Democratic idols by eating their own. Like Rome, they have become a bunch of “Nero’s fiddling” while their country burns. Our days are numbered and our God responds to us as we have responded to him by looking the other way .

  I find it ironic that the very people that call out gun owners as Nazis are themselves, acting and speaking like the very group that carried that label in the first and second half of the nineteenth century. These people see themselves as part of the “upper elite” and feel that they will be part of the government control system. They remind me of those “citizens” of the Third Reich who quietly pointed out the Jew walking down the street to the authorities. My God, what are we becoming as a country? It is terrifying indeed.
