  • …and his “I’ve only been a senator for two years and I already consider myself presidential material†– Sound familiar? Seems to me that another senator, with very different intentions, did the same thing, right? If you’re willing to skip out on that part of very recent history, how much real history do you know and understand? My guess is very little…you need only look at the actions of the Democratic party in the past 80 or so years to determine where the racism really lies. You come from the party of Byrd, Jackson, Sharpton, LBJ, FDR, Gephardt and Hollings. Spend some time reading things that your party doesn’t feed you and you may develop some original thoughts…

  • That is probably the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard, or at least in the top five. The fact that it is coming from a police chief makes it that much more frightening, especially for the people residing in Emeryville, CA.

  • Hypocrites, everyone of them. Notice that Obama blames everyone else, just as those Hollywood idiots?

  • Who gives a rats ass what Piers Morgan thinks?

  • Disgraceful…

  • Just a matter of time, things fail when the takers outnumber the doers. The ‘fiscal cliff’ they keep referring to is just the tip of the iceberg, and not the greatest of our worries. But, just as Roth said, bring it on, the sooner the fail, the sooner we can rebuild. I would like to add, directed towards *GoJ, that being a Christian is not at odds with being a Libertarian. I know some like to bash religion, like its a weakness, or that it makes you less intelligent, while others try to use Jesus as an insult. Most Christians I know, including myself, don’t believe in a collective salvation, nor do we use our belief as a means to appear superior to others. I don’t care what religion a person adheres to, as long as it doesn’t encroach on my freedom, or diminish my ability to worship. A persons belief, or non belief, is between that person and God.

  • He’s got teeth (14 second mark), and he weighs about 20 pounds. I don’t think we’ve received proof of Obama being born in Hawaii, but this isn’t proof he was born in Kenya…he still needs to go though.

  • Biden, the gift that keeps on giving…

  • @AMERICAN SOLDIER (SEPARATED), you hit the nail on the head. Most supporters from both the major parties miss that point, that neither party supports true freedom, in the sense that our Founding Fathers envisioned. “Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” – Benjamin Franklin. The people we have in politics today are in it for power or money, not to serve and look after our Constitutional rights. Both parties use smoke and mirrors, and plenty of excuses, why our rights are being diminished, under the guise of protecting us from evil. I’d rather protect myself, and decide for myself what is wrong and what is right. I trust my morals much more than those that will run for a political office. What my neighbor does to his body, in his house, does not affect me.

  • I agree, the infighting on this site, and bashing of Libertarians, has gotten as bad as the bashing between D’s and R’s. Both are sheep, only difference is how quickly the flock is being led off the cliff…the destination is the same. I used to consider myself an R, until I realized that they spent just as much, cared just as little about our freedom guaranteed by the Constitution, and no longer considered themselves to be public servants, but rather consider the public as their servants, with taxes as the cash crop. I’m a socially conservative Libertarian, and there are many out there like me, fed up with the current faux two party system, where neither party really has our best interests in mind.
