  I did install abine’s widget and I got slammed w/ 18 tracking whatevers. You’d think Glenn Beck wouldn’t stoop to this… Unless he’s poor cuz he isn’t on TV anymore… eh?

  @AGGIEBREWER Indeed it does. My cable company tech support tells me this, that’s the basis for “shifting” or “static” IP addies and if I knew how to get to the window to show you, you could already be set up, by your ISP, to change IP addies on a regular basis, we are and I’ve seen it. It’s a command prompt thing, if anyone wants to help out on this.

  And when I say “my cable tech support” I mean 5 guys in our local COUNTY-wide cable system and by-golly they know who I am the minute I talk, and I know most of them by name and it’s like talking to friends. They teach me a lot more than “call your vendor”. They show me lots of neat stuff and they also know they don’t need to start out by saying “Now go to your start menu, that button on the far left of your taskbar. What’s a taskbar? *sigh*……” They know I’m usually at the place they need me to be, most times. So yeah, you can trust Cap’n Crunch and me, it’s true. Of course, that might start a cascade of not being able to reconnect to the ‘net, and God help you if you have Comcast, those b***ards. smh Ohhhh yeah…I know our modem can get stupid at times, but it’s THEIR modem thank God, let THEM fix it! :) (See, we’ve got a phone on it too. Makes it stupid sometimes.)

  This is for PettyDrama. Tell ya what, dear, you come tell that to my son, who many years ago, married the girl he got pregnant twice, & had 2 other kids, & the whole family was no only beating my ex-dau-in-law BEFORE she got married for having a “white b*****d’s kids” – EVEN WHILE SHE WAS PREGNANT! – they nearly KILLED my son! They broke his jaw in so many places, (w/ brass knuckles or rings, whatever) that even after 6 hours of reconstructive surgery, his jaw is STILL deformed! Her brothers, gang members all & THAT’S A FACT, PD!, would have killed him, right in the middle of a Sprint Store, if my other son hadn’t been there & tried to pull him off his brother. I can tell you, from a LOVING FAMILY POV, that blacks can be more racist than a auditorium fulla Klansman, & we never ONCE knew it before then! Oh, no doubt it won’t surprise you, they’re not married & he didn’t see his kids for seven years! We all still consider my ex-d-i-l part of the family & we see the grandkids now, the rest of the family think we’re the most horrid folks on earth!!

  I’ve lived several years around blacks, in my same building, etc., WE were the minority! I never even noticed a diff/bad change until Obama was elected. Since then, they harass us back into our apartment if we want to sit out, I’ve had a real, live, honest-to-God death threat put on me, & they, as a rule, not specific ppl, but their friends & family who don’t know us personally, sneer at us & say ugly things.   No Mormons do NOT support all their kids & wives themselves!! Are you kidding me?? (Maybe before they invented welfare…) We’ve got 3 shows on TV RIGHT NOW that glorifies a man who marries as many women as he can & then BRAGS about all wives being on welfare, while he be-bops around the world. You must be LDS.

  I’ve got no problem w/ polygamy, if the gays can marry, then so can the polygamists! Hell, marry your car for all I care, but don’t depend on welfare to make it work!

  Didn’t we have a prez in the 90′s, (a Dem no less!), make welfare a timed thing & after 3 or 5 years you were off for the rest of your life? Whatever happened to THAT rule?? If it was a Repub that changed it, then I guess the Dems ought to shut their disgusting yapping mouths about how “hard hearted” the Repubs are!! If the Dems changed it themselves, I’ll settle for them just shutting up their disgusting ugly, two-sided yaps!

  I agree w/ JAYLEW: “…if a guy can’t show you his last 5 federal tax returns…..don’t sleep with him…” Makes awesome sense to me!! If they have ONE needle mark, knows what a “chore” is, (my LANDLADY taught me what it was, no less! *shudder*), has burn marks on his fingers, comes around smelling like beer, liquor or weed, then don’t sleep w/ him!!!   How about the supposed “white guilt kids & teens” that are BLACK?? Like my granddaughter, who I am VERY proud that she has chosen a decent charity that wants to expose what’s ugly in the world, by flipping over the rocks & showing us the foul insects & slugs that live underneath them. I have an ADULT friend who worked w/ the larger organization for years, volunteer of course. I’ll take HER word about what goes on before I’ll take a bunch of other’s folk’s uninformed statements.

  Oh & while you’re at it, STOP GIVING TO RED CROSS!!! One cent, ONE CENT!, goes to the ppl they (supposedly) help. They make a big show, but what does that show cost? ONE RED CENT of every dollar goes to the helpless, storm-wracked & devastated OF OUR OWN COUNTRY!! That stops at the borders, doesn’t it? Think about that, next time you make a fuss over 37%.

  TEXAS.7 is correct about the charities he mentions, absolutely “on the money” as it were, so yeah, you can do stuff for other countries, But if my granddaughter wants to help, more power to her. Why should I teach her “shades of grey” before she learns them all too soon? Heck, me & my friends did a hunger strike for the Native Americans who took over Alcatraz Island – how many of you remember that? If we had had FB maybe WE could have started a movement and changed actual, real live history! As it was, all we did was puzzle our parents. It didn’t do a dang thing, but we felt so good about ourselves trying to change the world! More

  Come live in MD – within 24 hours, insurers are obligated, by law, to inform the state that you no longer have insurance and then you get an FR-19…$150 the first day, and $50 every day there after, ad infinitum. Oh yeah, it’s being done and buuu-leeeeve me, you never saw such a buncha (law abiding) citizens follow a law so closely! I’ve been in that position myself, having forgotten to mail a payment a few times, and I’ve pulled quite a few, frantic calls to my insurance company, praying like the Dickens that they haven’t reported me. Lucky for me, it’s mostly happened over a holiday and they couldn’t report me yet, thank God! But we’ve been hit by one and it was NOT pretty…
