  The Amazing Race lost me on that episode. What is surprising is that it takes something that outlandish to offend the left. It just shows how brazen the networks have become. They are so brazen they are now offending those who have been their staunches defenders.

  He is considered conservative because he believes liberation comes from a life renewed through communion with Christ. The closer we are to our Savior and understand the mercy that has been given the more we will realize we are free in Him and not by works least any man should boast. Our works stem from wanting to be merciful as our Lord is merciful. To live is Christ, to love is to be like Christ.

  It doesn’t get any more conservative than that. No redistribution of the wealth. Just wanting Christians to walk what they say they believe.

  This Pope has promoted and taught the principles of Communion and Liberation (CL). Communion and Liberation brings together the conviction that the Christian event (justification), lived in communion (sanctification), is the foundation of man’s authentic liberation (freedom in Christ).

  Liberation comes through salvation. Liberation cannot produce salvation.

  In other words service to others can only find it’s meaning in the blood of Christ. Our works do not save us, but they do define us as free men and women choosing to serve God’s people. Communion with God is our liberation. Serving God is our reward. It is the opposite if Liberation Theology which says it is only as we seek social justice that we can find salvation. CL was the answer given to young people concerning why they shouldn’t run head long into Marxism. Without communion with God first the rest loses it’s meaning.

  Before Rand Paul’s Filibuster this child could have been drone material. After all the kids excessive weight could easily encouraged the civil disobedience of other 10 year olds. Before you know it they will be shooting up those name calling school official with poptarts in the shape of guns.
