  I can tell you are ignorant…especially about sisters/nuns and vocations in the church. There are numerous orders, Dominicans for instance, that are flourishing with young women desiring to be a nun/sister. Some congregations have long waiting lists of women. And guess what? These congregations wear habits; they are obedient to the church and its teachings. They are teachers, nurses. And by the way, there is a surge of men who are in seminaries, studying for the priesthood. So, check out your old and frayed information.

Yeah! That’s it…2 WHITE guys. Let the “person of interest) leave the country and nail 2 white American citizens. I puke!

  If the media and vile politicians try to blame this on conservatives, bible thumping evangelicals or just plain American Joe, it will divide us even more. You can not defend yourself against irrational claims. The left is sooooo irrational about sooooo many things. It may give reason to the irrational to form up lynching parties for the above mentioned patriotic Americans. Please keep the people of Boston and the participants in the marathon in your prayers. Dark time in our history. You can figure out what really happened…intuition. Did you see the man whose left leg was blown off just below the knee? Just a stump of a bone from the knee down. Awful. Looked like his other leg was in really bad shape.

  Up until now, when has anyone told a florist that their order was for a heterosexual wedding? Baby shower and funeral are pretty generic. Now, is it necessary to tell the florist the flowers are for a “gay wedding”? Must this be an issue? I wonder what flowers were requested…maybe a bunch of pansies?

  Guess I’m stupid. I will die, if it ever comes to that, for my faith. Jesus suffered and died for me. How could I eve repay him for that. No one will take my faith and I will not run and hide or make nice with persecutors. Are we coming to the time when our government will persecute faithful Christians? We’re getting closer to that reality. I’ll die for Christ.

  I watched it. They chose to dwell on the Old Testament. More hours than the New. They left out a lot of points regarding Jesus and his childhood ministry. Which, to me, were important. Embelishments all over the place. At times I wondered if I were truly watching a biblical story. I facebooked Ms Downey and brought my concerns to her attention. In a nice way ended my comments…”I enjoyed The Bible” otherwise.” She or someone took my comments off Facebook. They had to words of the Bible at hand. In so many ways they chose not to use THE words. I know there were time constraints. I didn’t finish watching the program last night. And yes, Jesus DID rise in spirit not in flesh and blood. Recall that he told his apostles not to touch him? I take that to mean his body was not flesh and blood any longer. I must say. The Bible was produced in a much better fashion than those doc shows about the Bible. Just before the show began, TCM was showing “The Greatest Story Ever Told.” Enjoyed that much more than the Downey et al production.
