WTF is kind of shorthand for either a question (Wasn’t that stupid?) or and explanation (Wasn’t that stupid!).

Since Foolish is a synonym for Stupid, WTF could be interpreted as “Wasn’t that foolish?” or “Wasn’t that foolish!”

I love Sarah, but she’d be unelectable because of the media barrage that would convince most of the foolish people that she is evil – but she will decide who is going to run against and beat this fool in 2112.
