After drilling down into the data, most of the gain in GDP appears to have come from inventory builds. Don’t forget they recently revised GDP to include things like R&D expenses, debt holdings etc. With workforce participation at all time lows and income growth negative or stagnant how many people are going to be out there buying up these bloated inventories? To get a more accurate unemployment number look at total number of working age people and compare to the IRS monthly withholding data. Not a great number, if they keep this up we will have 0% and 99.9 people out of the labor force. Just another day growing the free stuff army!

That is three people murdered like this, this poor old man, the baseball player in Iowa and some poor guy in Memphis who was shot to death leaving work as a nurse. One thing they all had in common, they were killed by black teens for thrills or because of Travon.

This bill is going to pass without any security/fence provisions. It will be amnesty, after all the elite need their version of Hessian mercenaries with no connection to the people, culture or language of this country to crew the MRAPs and be Obama’s dependent national security force that is as strong as the regular military.

While they are at it they have also made it easy to criminalize our legitimate veterans and weaken the regular armed forces. Waiting for Holder, Lerner, Clinton and the intelligence heads to pay the piper for Fast and the Furious, Benghazi, IRS intimidation, AP and Fox News wiretapping and the overall wiretapping scandals? Keep waiting, no one will go to jail, not one of the people will even get a real slap on the wrist, heck most will be promoted, like Susan Rice. Have a nice day!

I hate to say it but I doubt any of these scandals touch Obama and company. Hillary won’t get hit, neither will Holder, look at how much damage he took on Fast and Furious. It really bothers me that nobody is held accountable, but my bet is nothing will come out of this.

This is just the start. My prediction is there are going to be a lot more part-timers working just under the Obamacare limit. If the market tanks some more and we actually get inflation it is going to be a tough decade or so.

Nothing is going to happen to any of these Obama administration officials. If Romney wins he will probably sweep it under the rug to get rid of any divisiveness so we can all “just move on and not dwell on the past”. If Obama gets reelected you can bet your bottom dollar it will go away, just like Fast and the Furious and a hundred other scandals. I wonder why the defense department has been gutting all the flag officer staff the last four years? Check out the changes, it is all most a complete reorganization. I think the same thing happened in the 1930′s some where, can you guess which country?

Nobody will go to jail, the public probably does not even know about this. Many just want “Obama phone, Obama in President”. Can anyone on this board believe that the race is as close as it is with all these out right debacles? Even with skewed polls, it should not even be close! Romney needs to win by a couple of points, because if it is inside the margin of Lawyer/Acorn you can look forward to 4 more years of the same.

  • October 24, 2012 at 7:21pm

I agree with Pigswillneverfly, I don’t think anybody involved in this debacle will pay ANY consequences for it. They are all ready busy rewriting the narrative of what happened, scrubbing the internet and redirecting the public’s attention to Donald Trump and Gloria Allred. If Obama is lucky Honey Boo Boo will have some real drama this week and divert even more attention. We better pray Romney wins by a good percentage, outside the margin were lawyers, Acorn and trunk fulls of “missing” ballots can steal the elections. If it close for Romney he will still lose. The ensuing chaos if there is a recount would be the perfect excuse for martial law.

Nothing is going to happen to any body involved, Obama, Clinton, Rice and Pannetta are all going to get off the hook. They are all ready walking it back and muddying the waters. Beck can wave all the e-mails around as much as he wants and get as outraged as he wants, nothing is going to happen. I guess they are going to pay the piper just like Holder was going to for Fast and Furious? How did that turn out? I would love to see justice finally prevail but unless Romney can somehow win the Presidency by a clear margin, beyond the margin of Acorn/Lawyers we are going to be stuck with this bunch for at least four more years.

It does not matter how bad this tape is, it will be spun, ignored and overlooked by the MSM. The sheeple will not care, they might get annoyed however if this any way conflicts with watching Dancing with the Stars or Keeping up with the Kardashians.

  • October 1, 2012 at 7:46pm

I bet the republicans lose the house, senate and the white house. Does this make me happy? Not at all but I think that people in this country are so distracted with Honey Boo Boo, Dancing with the Stars and the Kardashians that they probably don’t know who is running. We have reached the point where the free-stuff army is going to enact mob rule. Most of the people I spoke with over the weekend thought Fast and Furious, Libya-gate or the failing economy were not that big of a deal. Hey all politicians do that stuff right? When I talk about Libor-fixing, ZIRP, unemployment stats or Europe I am quickly dismissed as a tin foil hat wearing pessimist. At least most of you on the Blaze know what is going on, I only hope there are enough of you to prove my pessimism wrong.

I hate to say it, but if Romney loses the election it won’t matter if the GOP has the Senate and House, Obama will just use executive orders to go around them like he has in the past. I mean after all the spineless GOP house has not been able to stop him or even make issue of it. How come Obamacare is still in force? Even with the SCOTUS decision, the bill originated with the Senate and not the house. All tax measures must originate in the house, so I guess it is not constitutional after all, but that will never get brought up. Romney better do well in all the debates, because if he can’t pull ahead now given the Obama administrations incompetence in the Middle East (murdered ambassador, biggest US air power loss since 1968 etc.) a failing economy and reduced national security he really needs to make his case clear.

The Crusades were a reaction to the Muslims taking by armed force the holy land, which had previously been held by the Byzantines.

In a nutshell, here is what is wrong with the market. 1) there have been no positive changes to our economy since the 2008/09 blowout. It has actually gotten worse, higher unemployment, more housing distress and much more debt. 2) Now we have the EU in worse shape, Greece is just the tip of the iceberg. Spain, Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Belgium, France and the UK are also ripe to go the way of Greece. The eastern European countries are also in bad shape. 3) The FED and the ECB working in tandem have printed so much money and distorted the world economic system to such an extent that markets no longer function rationally. Stocks keep going up even with bad news. 4) There are no markets any more, just rigged casinos where the central banks, HFT algos and crony capitalists take money from the few remaining retail investors. It is so bad that the bankster led advisory committee to the Treasury is now recommending negative interest bonds, so we can pay to have the honor of loaning the government money. How long until banks do the same thing with their deposits?

The market barely moved to the downside when this was mentioned and the talking heads on CNBCialis have been pitching the idea that a Greek default will be bullish and spur a huge relief rally. Every bit of bad news has been ignored. Want to know why? Because every broker/dealer bankster and other financial con-artist is expecting further LTRO from the ECB and QE3 from the fed to the tune of trillions.

Our GDP ex inventory stuffing for Christmas and government fluffed auto production was .5%, unemployment numbers have become a joke, revised up every week for the last 54 weeks, real estate is at its worst and we have more debt. What has changed since S&P 666 in March of 09? Nothing its worse but the market will rally while there is the rumor of all that cheap money produced by the FED and ECB.

The kid is autistic so he could have a problem with how he interprets and processes his sensory input which would make it hard in some cases for him to fight back. That being said the guy who hit him is a coward, I bet if the victim did fight back and land some hard shots that guy would be crying “hate crime” because the autistic kid hit him.

It is a very sad statement about our country when kids beat up on the disabled, homeless, elderly and vets. Nice going pop culture.

There were a flurry of downgrades and the European and US stock markets are acting like its good news. Very odd that this would happen unless the elite know that there is going to be a huge LSAP QE3 coming from the the FED and a trillion euro LTRO operation coming from the ECB. With out those interventions being hinted at the market should be down. What has changed since the S&P was at 666 in 2009? Nothing! Unemployment is worse, the housing market is worse, the EU and Asia are worse and all are in a lot more debt. So having the market up all most to an all time high is very odd. Looks like they are pulling out all the stops for the upcoming election.

I figured that the unemployment numbers were cooked. They don’t even use the raw number, they adjust the number of first time applications big time. The raw numbers are:
    W/E 12/3 523,642
    W/E 12/10 433,287
    W/E 12/17 418,466
    W/E 12/24 490,364
    W/E 12/31 535,112
    W/E 1/7 642,381
I don’t know the methodology used to make the 100,000 or so first time apps disappear every week but it sure distorts the numbers.

The whole financial system both here and in Europe, Japan and China is based on fudged numbers, manipulated bond auctions and hidden printing. I can not end well.

More importantly where do the current GOP hopefuls stand on the new NDAA and upcoming SOPA bills? I know where Dr. Paul stands but not so much with the other candidates. Paul and Gingrich give thoughtful answers in debates, the but other guys might as well just yell “San Diemas High School Football Rules!” every time they get confused. They will get sliced and diced in a debate with Obama. Unfortunately I will have to vote for Romney because he will at least have to pay lip service to conservatism and move a little slower.
