im so glad that you understand the difference between concrete and steel SSMJEDI !!! where did you get your degree in architecture or engineering? i am getting mine at IIT… but hey, who needs a degree?

SCARLET ROSE- you are partially correct, but the real issue is that this building is of concrete construction and the world trade center buildings were steel. Steel goes to spaghetti after prolonged high temp heating, concrete retains most of its strength.

this is the last stop on the “right to abortions” train… it starts as “the unborn are not persons yet” and ends with “a person is someone who is capable of reason” which results in these murderous abominations of human action

biden was annoying, and all hid strategy was, was trying to make sure ryan didn’t get to speak. it appeared closer a debate than the presidential, but thats only because biden sounded more forceful, what was said vs. how its said is a huge factor. sadly how is often more persuasive.

the beauty of romney’s plan is that he outlined a principle and understands that congress is responsible for its writing and are an important part of the process. he holds them to his outline as the executive branch is supposed to, not “bypassing congress”

they should put up a “no trespassing” sign and wait with a shotgun and rock salt. if they get aggressive like that black guy then let them know what you got in your hands and ask them to leave, ect.

its not a business. that requires money being exchanged.

this is no different than halloween candy bowls left on a porch.

well I’m not voting for him, and i don’t see many other catholics that are. there are lots of liberals who call themselves catholic but do not practice what they claim to be.

romney should sell the good old star and stripes in the form it was intended. that would say more than any speech could to people who have a mind of their own.

there is also an account of a so called “pillar of fire” described as a fiery dust devil that cropped up between the british and the fleeing politicians in DC during the war of 1812. supposedly saved the united states from losing more than just the old white house.

i can’t wait for the presidential debates. romney is actually quite well spoken and is not as awkward as the media wants us to believe. the vice presidential debates will be the best though. a comedy show

At least Carter went out with a few shreds of dignity. Barry has depleted every money reserve he can find to further his agenda, and I’m not just talking about campaign budgets here.

“14,600 calories” is absolutely negligible over a year’s time!!!!

thats the recommended caloric intake for a person who does almost nothing all day for about a week. so it seems like soda bans aren’t gonna slim anyone down.
