  • Simple answer “NO!” and here’s your proof — When people say they are Fiscally ‘Conservative’ and Socially “LIBERAL”, the ‘LIBERAL’ clearly infers that they are in favor of Gay ‘Marriage’.

Apologies to those who are trying to hijack the Conservative brand on this issue, a policy position cannot be both ‘Liberal’ & ‘Conservative’ at the same time.

  • Sorry Mr Beck, over 40% of Americans are CONSERVATIVE — NOT Libertarian, the terms are not interchangeable. This is why the LP gets 1% every 4 years, and Ron Paul didn’t win the popular vote in a single state since 1988. There are 2 things I noticed here that I find rather interesting:

    1) Beck intentionally left Bachmann and Santorum OFF of his spectrum I may have disagreed where he would have placed them I WAS stunned that he left them off entirely especially after whole-heartedly endorsing them in 2012.

    2) This article is poorly written as it stated “Last week, newly elected Texas Sen. Ted Cruz said a new party has to be started…” yet fails to either source/link to that statement. That’s Journalism 101.

  • AMEN Sen Santorum! Keep fighting brother.

  • Really Mr Will, the only people that stand for real marriage are ‘old and dying out’? Well, I’m 36 so unless you know something that I don’t, I plan to be in the fight for the foundation of all laws, Moral/Natural Laws for a very long time.

  • Funny, after 2008′s general election it was the Establishment led by Newt saying “The Era of Reagan is over”… today its the self-titled ‘Libertarians’. No thanks. Libertarians have a WORSE track record than the establishment. I’ll pass on both that are chucking Reagan under the bus and take Reagan-Republicans every day, and twice on Sunday.

  • How Not to Reform the Republican Party

Wait wait wait, we are somehow to believe the policies of the man that averaged 5% of the Primary vote (Ron Paul) is the ‘cure’ for the GOP ills and the man that almost beat Mitt with absolutely NO MONEY is the wrong way to go. Rarely do I see such an asinine post on The Blaze. But then again, nobody’s perfect.

Reagan’s statement of the 3 legs of Conservatism is the answer — and, like it or not, that INCLUDES Social issues. Fiscal, National Defense, and Family Values — anything else is lacking and may be called many things but it cannot be called “Conservatism”.

    Santorum 2016!

  • Wait wait wait… You have Chris Christie, Jeb Bush, and Condi but NOT Santorum????

What a sad and thoughtless article. Regardless of whether you support his policies, you MUST admit that he should be in the conversation, especially if those 3 are. He was the main challenger to Romney and almost beat him while running the campaign on a shoestring budget and having NO establishment support (thank God).

  • Rick’s preaching the Truth here. Wrong Paul wants a GOP platform could be said to be shaped by his allies in CodePink, Occupy, 9/11 Truthers, Hamas, Soros, and French Libertine Philosophers.

Doubt me? Look up Lew Rockwell’s idea of ‘Anarcho-Capitalism’. THAT is RP’s base.

  • Ron Paul agrees with MSNBC too, he voted ‘NO’. He agrees with the Left A LOT lately – Israel, Blaming America 1st Foreign Policy, Occupy, Abortion.

  • I was there and sitting in the Alternate Delegate section and this story is 100% accurate. Paul’s camp just proved what I suspected they were all along – They are NO BETTER THAN OCCUPY.

I’m just glad the voters are sending me to represent them in Tampa where I will be proudly display my ‘Ron Paul Sucks’ t-shirt.
