  • It wouldn’t be all bad. The coffee would at least be organic that way.

  • @Independent4233
I have never been an activist for homosexuality. I couldn’t care less what they do. I doesn’t affect me or my marriage.

  • As much as I don’t believe in the prophesies of Malachy, this pope is still Italian (his parents were Italian) and he is of the Jesuit Order. So the speculation that the last pope would be black, the prophetic believers will be going “SEE!” as the Jesuits where black cossacks (robes).

  • The reason for its removal was probably because of both reasons: Low sales (bad for business) and its stance on marriage. While the University had earlier said that they couldn’t kick the company off campus for its views, it can make a business decision when it came to what stayed during the revamp of the food court. Honestly, business probably was down on the university campus. The students were probably boycotting the venue because they were against its views, or avoiding the venue because of harassment from those you disagree with the companies views.

Thus, because of Chick-fil-a’s views, which would be widely unpopular on the average university campus, it’s revenue fell and was axed from the court due to numbers. So, while the university can say it made the decision based purely on numbers, the pro-gay movement can claim victory because most of the students on campus in the end sided with the LGBT movement and avoided the venue.

  • It’s your responsibility as a parent to feed your kid right. Not the food and drink industry. If you don’t want your kid eating and drinking crap, STOP GIVING IT TO THEM. Junk food was always a treat in my household growing up. If I was thirsty, I was told to drink water. If I was hungry outside of a meal, there was fruit. When will this society learn that it’s not always someone else’s fault for everything in life.

  • Why would an atheist name there kid Judas? He was pivotal in Jesus’ story, and did nothing more that God’s work. God needed Jesus to die for the salvation of mankind, and Judas was there to help that come into being. As God willed. The bad reputation he has among Christians is something I’ll never understand, where the only thing he did against God was commit suicide, which was after he walked the path laid out for him.
I you want to go the “Atheist is evil” road, wouldn’t they name their kids Satan? But then, they’d have to believe in him too.

*And because I can see the counter already – “The devil’s greatest accomplishment was making men believe he doesn’t exist.” Or he did nothing. Because he doesn’t exist.

  • You can pray all you want around me. Even at work. Just don’t ask me to pray.

Besides, would you want a non-believer leading your prayer?

  • Hey Monk,

Close. Harrison says he had dysentery from the local water. It wasn’t that he forgot the wipe, he was just very sick and didn’t feel like doing the long drawn out “duel.”
As someone who got sick from the water when I was in Egypt, I can speak from experience that it sucks. I spent the day ejecting from both ends.

  • Curious. Why would you sign on to the event in the first place, when their stand and the ensuing debate have been on the news a great deal as of late, and you disagree with their stand, if only to publicly and loudly pull out?
I guess I really answered my own question, but it seems rather mean to the kids (their fans) who would have been looking forward to seeing them, whether or not you agree with the Scouts or the Musicians.

  • If it wasn’t for the fact that it is smack in the middle of China (and the fact, you’d have to deal with China anyhow), I’d think it would be rather interesting to form a group to buy the ghost city outright and form an independent city-state. Maybe find a way to buy up an area of land surrounding the city too for farming. If it was a coastal city, even better! But that’s too many “ifs” and way too close to China.
