Given that the Mom was the first to die I think we can say she tried to stop him. But, I have to tell you the first time I attended a PTA meeting about these kind of school shootings I knew we were in trouble. I got up and suggested that we should all think of our kid as the possible shooter. That way we would all be watching everyday. You would have thought I was suggesting that the earth was square. I mean it was just not possible “their” kids would do this.

Mr. Brown,

I work with soldiers every day. I always find myself humbled by the situations they are put into and manage to get themselves out of. The selflessness you guys display never ceases to amaze me. That “I served so everyone everywhere could be free to live their lives in the manner they see fit” gets me every time. I am way to judgmental for that. I like to think I can be honest with myself.

I don’t have what it takes to be a soldiers. A lot of us don’t. Most of us admit this and that’s why we are always heaping praise on you guys. But, there are always going to be a few of us that are embarrassed by Men and Woman like you.

If your thinking all these people see is that missing limb when they look at you – your wrong. What they are really seeing is how far you would go for them – strangers. You weren’t hustled down that aisle and put in that corner for any other reason then that they are embarrassed by their inability to be half the human being you are.

So in the future when someone one looks away or hustles you off I hope your smile gets a little bigger. Because in that moment they’ve acknowledged who you are and their inability to be you.

Just remember to get far enough outside the city to avoid building codes. Make sure you work with someone who knows what they are doing when it comes to building underground – for safety. Check that the properties that surround yours don’t have extensive pipelines near your property line, if they do, build accordingly. Don’t finance anything. And, look for property in places that don’t count underground structures as taxable – crazy, but true – in some counties if they don‘t see it, they don‘t tax it. But, remember you will (almost) never be able to resell a underground home to someone who needs bank financing to purchase it.

If you merely want to be self sufficient you need to start thinking outside the box. How much land could you really hold if the government was coming after farmers? How much is enough to go unnoticed and still achieve your goal? How are you going to shield your crops from exposure to chemicals in the air and GMO seeds that spread to kill out your crops?

On three acres you can sustain ten adults. If you lay it out properly and have year round yield. You need to go underground literally. That way your crops and animals don’t attract attention and you are for the most part safe from environmental factors. Light tubes – mirrors reflecting sun thru tubes underground have made underground gardens more than possible. Smaller animals can be just as productive, attract less attention and easier to maintain i.e. goats instead of cows.

A small town not to far outside of the city may a better thought than “rural”, more affordable too. You need to look into what they are doing with underground dome housing also. If you and your husband have “do it yourself” capability it is easier than you think. I don’t imagine a 3 acre plot that just has a 10×12 storage building sitting on it (entrance) and a few small animals grazing attracts the attention a 100 acre farm does.

No one seems to be pointing out water here. Water moves thru the US because we all have a common goal. But, even now we are seeing prices rise and access change. Texas is over huge aquifers, but water is an issue. To all of you talking about not letting Texas leave without the US military stepping in – what does that say about YOU? Pres. Obama has barely held office for four of eight years and your already talking about going after your neighbor with the military. Dems are such bullies.

Sorry to post off topic here. But this is the newest post and about Pelosi so I’m going where the comments are. I have seen several democrats out on the “shows” this weekend saying how the story on Benghazi hasn’t changed and that the CIA did not request help. Also they are saying that other Presidents, like Reagan, had Americans die on their watch and no one called for impeachment. They are using the Marine barrack bombing as a “for instance”. We really need to push back against this Monday. But, if we are all saying the same thing your congressmen and senators will say we are using some “talking point”. Please take a few minutes and refresh yourself on the histories of past attacks so on Monday morning you are loaded for bear when you call the hill. You are calling the hill – Right?

Our side – I’m not even sure if we have one in Washington anymore – doesn’t seem to be able to find the butts with both hands. Never mind make an intelligent argument on the fly. We need to help them out. All of the latest BS from the democrats can be easily answered but everyone needs to do it in THEIR own words. I want to thank you guys, I have loved ones deployed and I can’t tell you how grateful I am for all your efforts on their behalf. – THANK YOU!

Where can I find your posts on how the liberals in big cities take care of our water supply? You do also point out the problems with fluoride – Right? You do know that it was developed by the Nazis for not nice things? How about the sewage that cities like New York – run by liberals dump into the sea? How about all of the proscription drugs found in so called safe water? Did you cheer when Pres. Obama said – at some point you have to stop medical treatment and just take a pill? Are you equal in your assessment of the “truth”? What you are really fighting for is clean water – Right?

The answer to this is to not use these schools. Put your children thru online colleges. It is cheaper, faster and a degree is a degree. Honestly how many of you would want to send your kid to a so called “Ivy League” school. I remember when I started home school years ago, what a stupid idea everyone thought it was. When my 14 year old finished high school and could speak three languages it was a whole different story. Now colleges are actually looking for home school kids. If the only advantage to following the crowd is being part of a crowd – I don’t see the point.
