I’m done with ALL of this. David Barton, Glen Beck these men are all talk. While they make money to protect themselves. They ALWAYS find a way to abandon the “little” people in the end. Good luck to all of you, but really just like the GOP it is one excuse after another. “God wants me to scare the heck out of you, but he doesn’t want me to use my influence to help you, unless of course you want to buy a book..” – Okay

I hope other Texas parents will do as I did this morning. I contacted my school district and told them that none of my children will participate in any activity which includes this school. Not a sport, not a band event, not a chess game. Nada. Plano can’t stop this behavior, because they don’t want to. If my kids school wants to remove them from their teams/groups/clubs so be it. And, because I know the comment is coming….this is Texas after all….YES no playing EVEN if it means removal from the team. I’d rather just pay for college then compromise with whatever evil spawned this.

I just want to live in a world where 2+2 = 4. I keep hearing these democrats screaming that closing the government means paychecks wont go out. People will have to stay home, their will be uncertainty. Just the work and money spent on PREPARING for a “maybe” shut down stops all forward progress. Government employee cant go about their real work and the planning costs billions of dollars.

YA THINK JACKAZZES? WELCOME TO MY WORLD EVERY TIME YOU RE – REGULATE OR PASS A NEW LAW.

The time to give interviews about internal state plans was – NEVER. Quit talking and get finished with those domes along the coast. When are you going to start on Perry’s rumored sea wall plans? If we were actually allowed to police the border it would be doable without the federal government. We have seen time and time again that the feds restrict our ability to see to our safety from the south.

If you’re a farmer or rancher with secondary grey water wells you need to be updating them. We need three to four more desalination plants up and running, including the ones that are currently going up. Everyday I see electrical pole work going on, but we need to get that underground. We are on track with solar – biggest fields in the country. But we are not working hard enough on personal fuel. Not enough farmers and ranchers are ready to make their own.

We are still building with wood on the surface, that HAS to stop. We are not updating the rail system fast enough to move troops or supplies throughout the state in a crisis. I am not talking about fast rail, but updating the old rail system already in place. We don’t have enough public transportation running on hydrogen. If your not making your own loads, have not updated your welding skills and don’t have at least one garden underground working off light tubes – your falling down on your job as a Texan.

I could clearly go on and on. People from other states used to joke that you got a few ac

Given that the Mom was the first to die I think we can say she tried to stop him. But, I have to tell you the first time I attended a PTA meeting about these kind of school shootings I knew we were in trouble. I got up and suggested that we should all think of our kid as the possible shooter. That way we would all be watching everyday. You would have thought I was suggesting that the earth was square. I mean it was just not possible “their” kids would do this.

    Mr. Brown,

I work with soldiers every day. I always find myself humbled by the situations they are put into and manage to get themselves out of. The selflessness you guys display never ceases to amaze me. That “I served so everyone everywhere could be free to live their lives in the manner they see fit” gets me every time. I am way to judgmental for that. I like to think I can be honest with myself.

I don’t have what it takes to be a soldiers. A lot of us don’t. Most of us admit this and that’s why we are always heaping praise on you guys. But, there are always going to be a few of us that are embarrassed by Men and Woman like you.

If your thinking all these people see is that missing limb when they look at you – your wrong. What they are really seeing is how far you would go for them – strangers. You weren’t hustled down that aisle and put in that corner for any other reason then that they are embarrassed by their inability to be half the human being you are.

So in the future when someone one looks away or hustles you off I hope your smile gets a little bigger. Because in that moment they’ve acknowledged who you are and their inability to be you.

I wish you EVERYTHING good. God bless. Thank you.

Just remember to get far enough outside the city to avoid building codes. Make sure you work with someone who knows what they are doing when it comes to building underground – for safety. Check that the properties that surround yours don’t have extensive pipelines near your property line, if they do, build accordingly. Don’t finance anything. And, look for property in places that don’t count underground structures as taxable – crazy, but true – in some counties if they don‘t see it, they don‘t tax it. But, remember you will (almost) never be able to resell a underground home to someone who needs bank financing to purchase it.

If you merely want to be self sufficient you need to start thinking outside the box. How much land could you really hold if the government was coming after farmers? How much is enough to go unnoticed and still achieve your goal? How are you going to shield your crops from exposure to chemicals in the air and GMO seeds that spread to kill out your crops?

On three acres you can sustain ten adults. If you lay it out properly and have year round yield. You need to go underground literally. That way your crops and animals don’t attract attention and you are for the most part safe from environmental factors. Light tubes – mirrors reflecting sun thru tubes underground have made underground gardens more than possible. Smaller animals can be just as productive, attract less attention and easier to maintain i.e. goats instead of cows.

A small town not to far outside of the city may a better thought than “rural”, more affordable too. You need to look into what they are doing with underground dome housing also. If you and your husband have “do it yourself” capability it is easier than you think. I don’t imagine a 3 acre plot that just has a 10×12 storage building sitting on it (entrance) and a few small animals grazing attracts the attention a 100 acre farm does.

I’m not a fan of either party, but what are you Dems going to do if the US holds together and the next Pres is a Rep? You have been giving this Pres. so much power how are you going to feel when you are on the outside again?

  • December 6, 2012 at 5:27pm

No one seems to be pointing out water here. Water moves thru the US because we all have a common goal. But, even now we are seeing prices rise and access change. Texas is over huge aquifers, but water is an issue. To all of you talking about not letting Texas leave without the US military stepping in – what does that say about YOU? Pres. Obama has barely held office for four of eight years and your already talking about going after your neighbor with the military. Dems are such bullies.

Sorry to post off topic here. But this is the newest post and about Pelosi so I’m going where the comments are. I have seen several democrats out on the “shows” this weekend saying how the story on Benghazi hasn’t changed and that the CIA did not request help. Also they are saying that other Presidents, like Reagan, had Americans die on their watch and no one called for impeachment. They are using the Marine barrack bombing as a “for instance”. We really need to push back against this Monday. But, if we are all saying the same thing your congressmen and senators will say we are using some “talking point”. Please take a few minutes and refresh yourself on the histories of past attacks so on Monday morning you are loaded for bear when you call the hill. You are calling the hill – Right?

Our side – I’m not even sure if we have one in Washington anymore – doesn’t seem to be able to find the butts with both hands. Never mind make an intelligent argument on the fly. We need to help them out. All of the latest BS from the democrats can be easily answered but everyone needs to do it in THEIR own words. I want to thank you guys, I have loved ones deployed and I can’t tell you how grateful I am for all your efforts on their behalf. – THANK YOU!

Where can I find your posts on how the liberals in big cities take care of our water supply? You do also point out the problems with fluoride – Right? You do know that it was developed by the Nazis for not nice things? How about the sewage that cities like New York – run by liberals dump into the sea? How about all of the proscription drugs found in so called safe water? Did you cheer when Pres. Obama said – at some point you have to stop medical treatment and just take a pill? Are you equal in your assessment of the “truth”? What you are really fighting for is clean water – Right?

The answer to this is to not use these schools. Put your children thru online colleges. It is cheaper, faster and a degree is a degree. Honestly how many of you would want to send your kid to a so called “Ivy League” school. I remember when I started home school years ago, what a stupid idea everyone thought it was. When my 14 year old finished high school and could speak three languages it was a whole different story. Now colleges are actually looking for home school kids. If the only advantage to following the crowd is being part of a crowd – I don’t see the point.

If you can have two dogs on one city lot – why can’t you have a goat? They make great pets, they eat everything (somebody say recycle), they give milk. Even the posh among you eat goat cheese and they don’t bark or go rabid. You can have a parrot so why not a chicken. Have you looked into chickens lately – they come in designer breed and colors. A chicken – not a rooster.

If you can collect rain water in a barrel or put in a pool – how come you can’t have a 500 gallon water tank in the back yard? I’ve driven thru your cities, you are not putting the car in the garage. You know with a couple well placed mirrors to you can bring sunshine into every corner of that garage. Just like that you have an enclosed, container garden producing all year long.

I’ve seen millions of you snicker at mobile home dwellers from your stick built houses. If it’s 2012 and you can read – why are YOU living in a wood structure with a composite roof? Take a minute and view some pictures of Japan or Berlin after massive destruction took place. See anything still standing? Why do building codes restrict building safe, generational structures?

Don’t blindly except or follow the logic of someone who will not be in the foxhole with you. Gold is great. It’s double in value – so has peanut butter. Until everybody can take care of themselves your secession even if it happens is not sustainable.

I get tired of screaming your stupid and calling it a day. Oddly, I don’t find it helpful. You need a great many things to be independent. If your neighbor does not have them too, then you end up fighting to keep them. This results in the waste and destruction of said recourses.

You see the result of these petitions. You ask to leave peacefully and the liberals demand that you get thrown out and STRIPPED of all your stuff – including citizenship.

Changing your city counsel is hard enough. You can’t change the federal government in a day. Focus on the easy, learn as you go and work your way up.

If you are feeling fear, don’t lash out, WORK. The average city lot is a quarter of an acre. If you have more than that your already ahead of the game. Start changing city codes that prevent you from taking care of yourself and family in an emergency.

The first rule of survival is sheltering in place. It’s simple, you hold yours, I’ll hold mine and pretty soon we have a street of people with a common goal – SURVIVAL. Not politics, simply making it to the next Monday.

Why not ask some questions of your local leaders. The good news is liberal logic is unbelievable friendly to those who wish to take control of their lives. Enlist them to help save you.

Middwesthippie let me burst your stupid bubble. Are you going to pack them out with mules – not that we wouldn’t pay to see that. Look I’ve been here saying it’s not the best idea. But, never mistake not a good idea with not doable. Texas can totally hold it’s own. And in case you haven’t heard we have closed the border and Oklahoma is running out of space – memo to Beck.

  • November 12, 2012 at 11:39pm

Ya’ll REALLY? Then what? A visa to visit grandma? Import tax on maple syrup, Ben and Jerry’s, Maine lobster? Dual citizenship for everyone under 18? Enemies on our border instead of across the sea? Don’t start the BS about enemies within at least we can hold them accountable now – eventually. And who is watching our backs and the world while we are showing each other our azzes? You are aware that we have soldiers OVERSEAS depending on us? Honest to God people – BREATHE. In and out – you can do it. It’s an election, it sucks, but your going to let a couple thousand power hungry people in DC win this easily? Divide you from family and friends that might be misguided but that love this country as much as you do. Since when do we walk away? I would have sworn we had more grit than this. You do know if your right, in four years you won’t have to prove it to anyone. Have any of you met your parents/grandparents? You really think this is worse than what they lived thru for you? Way to answer the call of history. Your really hanging tough it’s been what 5 DAYS! Good Lord, I love Glenn Beck, but when he is calmer than you – that might be a sign.

    Hey, I wasn’t done…………..

The economy is not very strong. The country is divided. Lot’s of people looking for both a scapegoat and a diversion. Winter is setting in and many of us will be stuck inside with little to do. News anchors are coming undone on air. People screaming for help in New York. Republicans eating their own. Democrats weighing their futures. Main stream media is bleeding market share. Nothing like a scandal to focus attention, shed a few enemies, allow the people to vent, crown new hero’s, gosh almost sounds like a cure all.

The problems associated with voting/working for a group that believes in winners and losers must be starting to register right about now. Somebody pass the popcorn. ………okay, now I’m finshed.

Hello nervous people in Washington, Watching the spread of this story? Are you starting to look around corners? Frantically trying to remember what you might have said to whom? Beginning to wonder who will jump first?

Me too. Not the nervous part, I’m a regular schmoo so I don’t get to break the law. But, I am watching to see who will go first. Don’t fool yourselves, you don’t walk back four dead Americans that WE know begged for your help. The American people can be forgiving, for a time, the clock is running. We all know the rules of the life boat, there are only so many seats.

Almost everyone I know loves somebody in the military. A son, daughter, cousin, spouse, parent. I don’t personally know anybody that loves a politician. And their staff? Aren’t you the guys that make those clever utube videos making fun of the people you are suppose to serve? Surely if you are in an “agency” you are not under any illusions as to the American view of scandals involving you.

Conventional wisdom says a second term comes with more latitude. But, are you thinking like millions of us that Biden is not the greatest option? There must be a whole lot of people wondering if they might have a shot at the presidency. If this played out just right, someone might shed years off their personal plan. Maybe some staffer/backer looking for a toe hold for their candidate. Timing is everything.

The economy is not very strong. The country is d
