Network Releases Statement on Pat Robertson’s Controversial Advice to Cheated-On Women
May 19, 2013 at 9:33am
He did not say that this is how ALL women should handle this kind of problem. He was speaking ONLY to this woman. She said that she WANTED to forgive him and asked HOW to do it.
He was telling her concrete things that she could do to achieve HER goal.

This is as clear as it can be. The IRS is making a list of Conservatives. They will use this list to deny health care to them.
WaPo: Police Released Boston Suspects’ Photos to ‘Limit the Damage’ Being Done by Reddit, Media
April 21, 2013 at 10:15am
Has it occurred to anyone that by using the “naturalized citizen” logic that we’ve heard so much of from the liberals, that Suspect No.1 could have, upon reaching the age of 35 years, become a candidate for president?
Ted Cruz Responds to ‘New McCarthy’ New Yorker Article: ‘Curious’ They Would ‘Dredge Up a 3-Year-Old Speech & Call it News’
February 23, 2013 at 4:28pm
Looks like the left wing media has started its campaign of hatred against Ted Cruz. They are going to spend the next four years viciously trying to destroy him, reminiscent of the way they attacked Sarah Palin.

This is not Michelle Obama. She’s never in her life been that thin. This is an interesting body double who is wearing a wig just like her new one with the bangs.

Pastor Rebukes Christians for Gun Worship, Encourages Less Time With ‘Hannity and O’Reilly’ (and More With the Bible)
February 14, 2013 at 8:47am
Is Idleman setting up a false choice? The people who say that they trust in their Smith and Wessons mean that they choose to trust in them rather than calling 911, trying to find scissors and the like, hiding, and waiting for the police and not that they trust in them instead of God.
Why is it impossible to trust in weapons with which to defend yourself and at the same time to trust in God? You can bet that if my home were being invaded, I would be praying fervently while taking aim. And I would have prayed every day prior to that day, as I have done all of my life, that God would bless me with His presence and protection, because that is the deal I have with Him. I will try to do my best to live His way, and He will take care of me. If He wants me to become a pacifist, He will let me know.
What Does History Say About When the Gov’t Tried to Restrict Guns in the Past?
February 12, 2013 at 3:17pm
I’m sorry to say so, but this piece sounds like a research paper written by a college freshman, one who has not studied the early history of this country, but has learned to string together quotes from library sources with a few original words. Red Ryder? Buffalo Bill? Annie Oakley? Please!
By the way, it has some of the same kinds of errors that you’d find in one of those papers. For example:
“But before we move too deeply into that history, keep in mind that the traditional roots of gun ownership in America are profound and precede the historic actions taken in 1791.”
Are these really YOUR words, Mr. Hallowell? Plagiarism is a serious matter. Or, rather, it used to be.
What Does History Say About When the Gov’t Tried to Restrict Guns in the Past?

The “gun culture” of colonial America assumed that every able-bodied boy or man who was able to handle a gun would indeed possess one and know how to use it against any man or beast who would seek to harm him.
If you would like to read about this “gun culture,” read about the Overmountain Men and The Battle of King’s Mountain. These were dirt-poor Scots-Irish farmers in 1780 who had removed themselves to the edge of the civilized world, their settlements in southwestern VA, eastern TN, and northeastern NC and butting up against Indians lands. Major Patrick Ferguson sent them word that if they didn’t sign loyalty oaths to the King, he would go over the mountains to their settlement and rape and murder their wives and daughters and kill them. They gathered themselves together, having absolutely no military structure, other than the colonels they elected, and no connection to the Continental Army, and marched for many days to find Ferguson. Their shoes disintegrated along the way, and they left bloody footprints in the snow. Find him they did, and the Battle of King’s Mountain ensued. To read this story, google “The Overmountain Men Battle for the Carolinas.”
This type of defense is precisely what the reference to an armed militia was about.

“The Second Amendment affirms “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms,” a central tenant that the majority of Americans embrace,,,,,”
Please check your dictionary. A TENANT is a person who rents space in a building. A TENET is a principal or precept. You have chosen the wrong word here.
