  This one absolutely proves my theory that voting should be limited to those who have a stake in the system. You should be forced to show that you paid taxes before you are allowed to vote.

  I agree with your assessment. I worked for a very popular jeans manufacturer (ones with a ‘W’ on the back pocket) and you can not buy a pair of these that are made here in the states. I also worked for serveral textile related companies over the years and every one has moved out of the US. That is due to our policies that favor the economics of manufacturing elsewhere.

  For those of you who think that only the old style of music is acceptable to the Lord, let’s also remember that no where in the bible does it say that we can/should have air conditioned sanctuaries and padded pews to sit in.

  I’m guessing that many people would not come if we eliminated those simple updates to the church. I say we should do anything (short of sin) to get the lost through the doors. If it takes more modern music then I’m for it!

  was trying to indicate that ALL federal employees should be on a similar plan – similar to the rest of us. Many companies no longer have pension plans, 401K plans match 25 or 50 cents on the dollar for those that offer them. And as for health care plans that we can choose from…really?
