Nice words Hucklebee. now how about backing it up with some cash for legal fees. put your money where your mouth is.
You know, of all the people out there saying he's a progressive disguised as a conservative, it's ironic that he's the first person in the race to come out in defense of this woman.
Romans 13:1-2, anybody? No?
"Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

Nope – not agreed. In America you are free to be as stupid as you want to be. I just want it to be modified so that people cannot freeload off the system. Yes support the people that cannot fend for themselves, however we shall not be enablers any longer. The System HAS to change or we will be unable to pay for it much longer. For those that don’t want to work for themselves and take care of themselves – so be it – you will be left in the dirt and can do as you wish until you infringe on others rights – then we will will take you into a prison/work camp and make you work to do things for the public that takes care of themselves.

@nosam – i believe bearway knew that, he was saying that the kids phone was going to be taken away.
@brigott – cmon enter the real world and deal with it.
@bearway – my kids won’t have phones til they can afford it to begin with. Unnecessary for children.

So people that disagree with you are trolls? I’m confused. I thought the idea of America is a battlefield of ideas. Let it be that. I for one will not be voting for Trump – he is not a Conservative and his personality is definitely not fit for being the President of the United States. Let us please vote for someone worthwhile and has respect for himself as well as others on all sides of the political spectrum. The time for disrespect is over.

I see what you did there – and I like it! Imagine a debate between Biden, Liz, and Bernie – What are the “differences” between Democrats and Socialists?

Excellent answer from him on this topic. But I have to state – why does it matter what the president thinks about the legality/illegality of Abortion? I am Pro-Life, but realize that what the Executive branch of the Government thinks/doesn’t think about a law – really doesn’t matter. They are there to enforce the law, not make it. The only reason that it matters is the fact that the President has the ability to name a new Supreme Court Judge, but even then, we have found that so called “Conservatives” can be swayed to progressive law-making/re-writing laws by way of Court rulings.
The Legislature is where it really matters what the given politician thinks about Abortion. Not the Executive branch.
Except that the current president has shown us that he can inflict his will through regulations faster than congress can pass laws or repeal what he chooses to do.
"why does it matter what the president thinks about the legality/illegality of Abortion?"
Amen, it doesn't, other than for what you stated. Next question. Move on. I wish candidates would realize this.
Excellent point. One of them needs to articulate that!
Why does it matter?
Because of his veto power, for one: how much is not being done currently because Obama says he will veto it, so Congress doesn't even try?
And because of judicial appointments that will have ramifications long after the President is out of office (see liberal judges like Ginsberg for details).
Wrong in that POTUS leads and others follow, the influence of their position can change direction of the country.
Obama's phone and pen disagree.
But then they also disagree with the Constitution and the division of powers.
Sadly, Congress and the SCOTUS seem to be on board with the phone and pen.

Here’s my message I just sent to him via his website (http://www.kirk.senate.gov):
I am sure that this is not the only such letter you will be receiving today. I just wanted to drop you a line to tell you, that you have just lost my family’s votes in the upcoming election. You had the privilege to represent me in the US Senate, you no longer do, so I will not submit a vote for you in the future.
I sure hope that your democratic allies enjoy the remaining time you have in the US Senate. You do know that your Republican backing in Illinois, mainly from Southern IL and DuPage County, where I live, is not ensured. You do have to represent our values – which for sure do not consist of Planned Parenthood’s values.

Simply explained – man was given Free Choice by God. Man can choose to sin or not. Much/most/all of the trouble in this world is due to sins of man. Simple as that.

Just sent a very similar message to them as well – thanks for sharing augrad68 – much appreciated. I am looking at joining scouts once again soon, but my son is not even 3 yet. So I guess I have some time to look into other possibilities since this appears to be going to way of the rest of the culture of America. As God is removed – so goes my interest in anything related to Politically correct culture in America. Maybe I will look into the LifeTrailUSA as mentioned above.

On my honor I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country
and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong,
mentally awake, and morally straight.
not morally ambiguous!

Maybe because Trump is not a conservative – plain and simple.

Monk – that was perhaps the deepest thing I’ve ever read on TheBlaze – thanks for posting that. Puts things in perspective truly – thank you!

My same thoughts – ~5 drinks a month is not a problem at all – that’s 1 every 6 days – in some circles – 5 drinks/night is not a problem.
Is it really a “realized harm to others” if a Christian baker refuses to participate in a gay couple’s wedding ceremony?
Can that gay couple find another baker that will bake them a cake?
If your answers are not No and Yes respectively to the questions above – then we can have a discussion.

In other words – you are looking for Galt’s Gulch. Agreed – but these United States of America are not lost yet.

A most excellent post – thanks Terentilius – to the heart of the matter. And I agree wholeheartedly with you. I will choose to respect and fly the flag of these United States on my house.
