Simply explained – man was given Free Choice by God. Man can choose to sin or not. Much/most/all of the trouble in this world is due to sins of man. Simple as that.

Just sent a very similar message to them as well – thanks for sharing augrad68 – much appreciated. I am looking at joining scouts once again soon, but my son is not even 3 yet. So I guess I have some time to look into other possibilities since this appears to be going to way of the rest of the culture of America. As God is removed – so goes my interest in anything related to Politically correct culture in America. Maybe I will look into the LifeTrailUSA as mentioned above.

On my honor I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country
and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong,
mentally awake, and morally straight.
not morally ambiguous!

Maybe because Trump is not a conservative – plain and simple.

Monk – that was perhaps the deepest thing I’ve ever read on TheBlaze – thanks for posting that. Puts things in perspective truly – thank you!

My same thoughts – ~5 drinks a month is not a problem at all – that’s 1 every 6 days – in some circles – 5 drinks/night is not a problem.
Is it really a “realized harm to others” if a Christian baker refuses to participate in a gay couple’s wedding ceremony?
Can that gay couple find another baker that will bake them a cake?
If your answers are not No and Yes respectively to the questions above – then we can have a discussion.

In other words – you are looking for Galt’s Gulch. Agreed – but these United States of America are not lost yet.

A most excellent post – thanks Terentilius – to the heart of the matter. And I agree wholeheartedly with you. I will choose to respect and fly the flag of these United States on my house.
Thanks Balrog. Like you, I choose to fly our flag here every day because I respect what it represents.

I believe Jesus was inclusive – however he called people out on their sins and told them to sin no more. Reminding them face to face – they have the choice to sin or not. That is what we all face, we can choose to continue sinning or attempt to reconcile with God and sin no longer.

Extra ammo in safe room, and potentially something to keep the children occupied with all the commotion. My thoughts were to hand the .22 to my 9-yr old daughter. She’d be a better shot where my wife would be completely emotional.

Agreed wholeheartedly ‘yougottabekidding’ – would have sent a better message to those that want this stupid death cult in America.
That said – I don’t want people to die – but people have their choice – I’d rather follow God’s design and allow people their free will and help them meet their maker if they decide to attempt to take others lives.

Oh – that would be most awesome!

Most likely it was an employee that didn’t care and more sadly grumbled about doing yet another thing that “wasn’t in the job description” for when he went to work for McDonalds… Sad!

This is the first thing I thought of when I saw the symbol Ted Cruz has chosen for his campaign. Take a look for yourself – tedcruz.org – an artistic flag upside down in the shape of a tear drop but looks like a flame as well – a la the B in the Blaze at the top of your window here.
Good catch, that's what it looks like, upside down and burning.

I always liked flammable/inflammable – meaning the same dang thing – english is such a strange language.

You actually clicked on it? I turn my head away immediately if he’s on the TV, and never listen to anything he says. Yes there may be some truth in what he says – but he’s incapable of not telling a lie.
