Jesus is a white man…with a freshly, well-shaped beard?! And is that Moses stepping on his toes? Really, look at the grimace on Jesus’s face.

Chris Collins came out as gay?! And somebody doesn’t agree with his lifestyle?! Why is everyone so up in arms about two completely different people having a difference of opinions? If Chris Collins is a gay man and he identifies himself as such, then so be it. If he id’s himself as a Christian, I cannot be the judge of that. Only he and God knows his heart.
I am not one who sees homosexuality as a disease or a choice really. I do see homosexuality as a sexual-sin struggle just like watching porn and adultry. It is an issue that people struggle with and if they so choose to live in that sin and remain unrepentant then they are in rebellion to God and His Word. As a Christian, it seems fairly simple to me to understand it this way.
When it comes to those who bash Chris Broussard for having an opinion and speaking out for his faith, I have but couple of ?’s for you. What happened to ‘Freedom of Speech’ that some hold up in high regard when they speak their mind? Why does it seem, too, that when a Christian speaks up about his/her faith and expresses what the Bible says to be true, is there seemingly less tolerance for them to speak out without being ‘persecuted’ for their faith and beliefs?
Lastly, I want to thank The Blaze for, not only this article, but also for putting both sides of the tweets up so that people can read opinions from each side.

This video and narrorator is scary. I know that there are people out there who have never been taught to think for themselves. The have always relied on someone else to do things and think for them. I know on a personal basis that there is a parent who keeps their child’s feeding tube in because she gets money from the gov. Child abuse, much?! It’s the same principle as a single mother having multiple children for the sake of a government check in the mail. This is the way America as worked and will continue to work unless people start thinking and working for themselves.
My daughter is a home health nurse. She says that happens all the time. And if the tube is in too long, one day they cannot do without it.

@DAVER18, thanks for the feedback. I wasn’t saying that they haven’t nor wouldn’t repent of their sin. I was relating such a sin as homosexuality to sin in gerneral which needs to be repented.

Just a thought here, what if these people actually are Christian? I do not know what it’s like to have a same-sex attraction; nor do I understand the feeling like I was born in the wrong body. However, I have struggled with a damning sin by which Jesus saved me from. I say that to say this, what if this band is made up of sinners who are struggling with the sin of homosexuality? We all have sin-struggles that we deal with and they tend to be lifelong issues. The sin of homosexuality is no exeption. However, sin has to be repented of and turned away from. Living openly in any sin, discredits Christ’s work on the cross. By the way, we cannot know their hearts and whether they are truly saved or not.
Much of what you say makes sense except that you contradict yourself when you don't expect them to repent of their sin. If they were former homosexuals, for example, who had repented of their sin and were trying to live a sinless life, then they would fit the description of someone who could be Christian. But they cannot follow Jesus unless they repent of their sin and work to live a life without sin. And if you knew anything about the Metropolitan churches around the country you'd know that they do not preach truth, but error. This story is no surprise considering the source. Remember that we're dealing with a secular news source so we can't expect them to understand what a Christian is even if they claim to be Christians. They have shown that they are not and don't understand Christianity. Stories like this just reinforce how badly this world needs our prayers and love to bring them to the truth and out of sin.

How about this, what if they are Christians who don’t think that homosexuality is a sin? Not all Christians are fundamentalists. You can believe in the divinity of Christ and accept his teachings without believing that the entire Bible is the word of God. In fact, that’s what most people who call themselves Christians in this country believe. Jesus is our lord and savior. Noah’s Ark is a fairy tale. God doesn’t give a hoot if cousin Fred lives with his boyfriend any more than He cares if I eat clams or bacon. If you dismiss everybody who holds these beliefs as not a true Christian, then that would make Christians a minority in this country and invalidate any argument for allowing Christian teachings to influence our public policies.
