Politifact is pure fancy. I took the time to look up and examine their claims. They are pure leftist propaganda. For example, they rate Michelle Bachmann as lying when she says Romney instituted socialized medicine in Massachusetts. 75% of the people say that, including Romney himself whose only defense was that it was done at the state rather than the federal level. They excel at clintonesque answers about the meaning of “is”. I’ll not be wasting any more time listening to their false claims. And anyone who cites them will be self-identified as sloppy, lazy or purposely misleading.

I just wanted to point out some logical errors in argument because they are so commonly made. You stated that you wanted drug free and crime free adoptive parents. Where is your evidence that someone who smokes a little marijuana is a bad parent? Where is your evidence that someone who stole something when younger shouldn’t have kids? I would agree that a drug free house should be important in raising children. Yet on the other hand, with clear data that being raised by homosexual parents causes damage in many, you can ignore that. Why?

Once again. Odds of being Sexually touched by a parent or adult when raised by homosexual parents: 1 in 4. Odds when raised in an intact biological family: 2%. References: Regnerus, Marks and others. It is criminal when so many people can’t find a child to adopt to put a child in a situation where there is a 1 in 4 chance of molestation. Criminal.

There is no evidence of same sex attraction being an heritable trait. There are lots of people that have both turned to same sex attraction and turned away from it. There are multiple studies showing therapy being very successful. The recent rigorous Regnerus study shows the damage that homosexual parents do to themselves, “their” children and society in general. Statistics? Proof? Here they are. Children raised by intact family who self-identify as “entirely heterosexual” – 90% Children of homosexual mothers – 61%. Clearly environment is a big part of this. “Ever touched sexually by a parent/adult” intact family – 2% homosexual mothers – 23%. Read that again. It is criminal to legalize marriage based on nothing more than a shared perversion. For Heaven’s sake – at least for the sake of the children, we must do all we can to keep children safe and gay marriage illegal. There are lots more of similar characteristics. “Currently on public assistance” – Intact family 10%, Lesbian parents – 38%. You’re damned right it affects my marriage and family when I have to pay for the damage caused by homosexuals and legalizing these unholy unions will add to my tax burden.

I know several higher-ups in scouting who are beside themselves that this issue even came out. If the scouts stand up for morality, the press will crucify them. If the scouts let the perverts in and violate their oath, attrition will gradually set in as moral groups leave one by one and the gay lobby sues everyone it can since local councils will now have to rely on their own resources to defend the lawsuits that will surely follow. The only real cure is to hunt down and expel all the immoral infiltrators and require in the future that all board members and voting members accept the scout oath as it is written with automatic expulsion if caught trying to remove the scouts duty to God and being morally straight. I’m strongly supporting my local council and urging them to stand for the right. Scouting has influenced millions for the better and we shouldn’t let the homosexual lobby destroy it.

This isn’t about a couple of dozen homosexuals who like to stir things up. This is a carefully organized and planned assault on one of the few organizations that still stands up for morality. They want to destroy the Boy Scout movement. Every time the official Boy Scout spokesman says this sort of thing, it simply means several of the pro-homosexual Board members who have infiltrated scouting are pushing there sodomite agenda. This issue will be voted on by the 1400 member representative group and it is not at all sure that this ridiculous policy violating the scout oath will pass. While there are liberal councils (like the Yankee Council in New England) that have tried to violate the scout oath for years, the representation is proportional. So a council from Kalifornica or New England may only get a few voting members whereas a group from Texas or Utah may have several dozen votes. Since a very large majority of the councils still believe in the scout oath (duty to God, being morally straight), if scouting were a democracy, the homosexuals trying to destroy scouting would lose by a large margin. But these perverts have been planning this for years, inflitrating even the most conservative councils. Most councils simply ask, “Hey, who wants to go to the convention and vote?” The infiltrators then volunteer and no one knows their real agenda. Luckily, many councils are catching on and require their reps to vote correctly. Still, this vote can go either way.

Illegal immigration is not good for the economy; there are many studies showing the net drain on the economy. If money being sent to Mexico is the second biggest source of income (right behind drugs), how does that benefit the economy? There are no jobs that citizens won’t work at; unless you count the jobs where the chamber of commerce crook won’t pay a decent wage. This article is an embarassment that makes all kinds of statistical errors and lies. Can’t this author see that an illegal alien should get ZERO dollars in welfare and that anything they get is stolen from Americans? Just because some illegal aliens haven’t yet stolen an ID and can’t sign up for welfare doesn’t at all meant that they aren’t a drain on our system. What part of illegal is so hard for you to understand?

Silver, What good is owning a gun if you can’t use it? And what part of “infringed” is so hard to understand? When the 14th amendment extended rights to the state level, it made it so that the states can’t infringe on my right to self defense. All of the current laws passed by the far-left states are unconstitutional. Many of these same kinds of laws have been found unconstitutional over the last few years. Unfortunately, the Supreme Court is now taken over by liberals and won’t hear current cases, meaning that the states can ignore the constitution and recent precedent and make new infringement laws. My right of self defense is God given and should not be subject to state or federal limitation. That our government thinks it can limit my rights without due process violates all kinds of moral and legal laws. As a free citizen, I should be able to buy or sell any weapon anytime with no licensing or background check. I’ve done nothing wrong. Would any of these unconstitutional laws have prevented the recent tragedies? Of course not. Making the evil perpetrators break 27 laws instead of 25 will have no impact at all, but it will limit my ability to defend myself in situations like riots, natural disasters and home invasions when rapid access to weapons might save my life.
