In California that can mean feminine and butch, or catcher and pitcher. Also notice humor is involved.

Yesterday’s liberal is today’s conservative; tomorrow’s conservative is yesterday’s liberal.
yes, evidently the Republican party is shrinking because it's too popular.
I'm not one to judge the correctness of a stance by its popularity. That is sophomoric.
But I'll judge it on its consistency.
It is consistent with Republican party doctrine, to interfere with gay marriage. Republicans are, after all, by and large, statist progressives. They just want the state to legislate THEIR morality into existence.
People are sick and tired of the government, especially the Feral (spelled correctly, alas) government, sticking its nose in where it does not belong. Marriage is one of those places.
So, Republicans, go ahead and beat that dead horse. Beat the Whig right off of it.
Conservatives: If we are to win our country back, and have freedom for us all again, you MUST come our way.

“Trumping up inapplicable “Church and State” grounds is about as rational as complaining about Cabernet at a Governor’s Ball because churches use wine in Communion”
And yet, people went absolutely bonkers simply because a local church was feeding breakfast to a local public school sports team!

Since it’s worked so well the last few thousand years, I shall reiterate: Men, don’t rape women.

As most of these are Protestants, they already had one foot entrenched in atheism from the start. No surprises here.
What does that mean? I'm just curious about why you say that in your comment.
Yeah what exactly does that mean, Protestantism is the exact opposite of atheism. That was a stupid comment.
BBATTY, Sounds like a Muslim kind of mindset.
I happen to be of the Mormon faith and certainly object to Protestants saying that we do not worship Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God; it makes me just as angry to see your remark about Protestants being part atheists already. Protestants are strong in their faith in Jesus, same as you or I. Just because someone who were good at giving sermons and didn't want to go out and get a job working hard and just letting the congregation support them for giving a speech each week, does not mean that what they preached about was a lie. Years ago they took a survey about the Virgin birth of Jesus and I was shocked at how many Protestant preachers did not believe it was true so the Secular folks had already infiltrated these churches many moons ago.
BBATTY: I think you owe the forum a bit of an explanation on this post. Are you Catholic and have an issue with Protestants, or a non-Christian? If it is from a Catholic perspective, all I can say is "what a shame". I am a Conservative Evangelical married to a conservative practicing Catholic. While we have our differences, we both are smart enough to know that we no longer have the luxury of Christian on Christian hatred - not when the secular world hates all of us. Satan laughs every time that happens - nothing discredits Christians more. Two other quick points: First, this is not just a Protestant phenomenon. Second; painting all Protestants with a broad brush is pretty hard. Do you mean a liberal female Methodist, or a conservative Southern Baptist, or maybe a traditional Anglican? I certainly have a lot more in common with a Conservative Catholic than I do liberal Protestant.
LDS may worship someone you "call" Jesus Christ, but LDS define Jesus Christ as someone entirely different than the Jesus Christ described in the Bible. These are LDs web sites but they don't teach you this stuff at the Temple. See for yourself:

At least she didn’t use a gun; it was only drowning. That would have made all the difference!
Do you have to live in East St.Louis, one of the worst crime infested cesspools in the country? Do you have to use food stamps? There's your privilege, now STFU.

Actually, no. Let’s burst another myth bubble. Christmas trees are pretty much Christian. The feast of Adam and Eve used to be Dec. 24 (think about that). During the medieval mystery plays that were performed in celebration on Dec. 24, the only stage prop would be the Paradise Tree decorated with apples and wafers (being winter, the tree would naturally be evergreen). The plays would end with Adam and Eve eating off the tree and the prophesy of a promised savior – thus a celebration of Adam and Eve and The Fall on Dec. 24 immediately preceded the coming of the Savior celebrated Dec. 25. When the mystery plays stopped being performed, people began to put their own private Paradise Trees up and things developed from there.

The way you mention and use the Crusades and the Inquistion is actually proof of the problem the article mentions and how ingrained it is in people.

I must admit that I’m a little confused. How can any legal charges be filed against this group for polygamy unless all the women have been civilly/legally married to the one man (and today, I don’t see how that can happen). As much as I disagree with polygamy, I don’t understand how any charges can be considered unless they’re breaking the civil laws of marriage. I’ve never seen their so-called television show.
