The big mistake here is this: Yes, Kaepernick is free to exercise his right to his speech, BUT… here it comes, not at the expense of his employer, the 49ers or the NFL. He should speak or protest after work on his own time. He should be benched in the locker room until after the anthem. AND our dear leader needs to shut up. Did you ever notice his anti-American comments and racial comments always seem to come when dear leader is out of the country? Make you comments while you are in America, not China.
@bcope: I agree with everything you said. I would still agree with it if you replaced 'Kaepernick' with 'Kim Davis'. See that's what's called consistency. Strange how many 'constitution loving conservative American Patriots' here will bash a QB for sitting during the anthem (and they should), but thought a clerk who was elected to uphold the law and blatantly refused to is the most heroic thing they ever saw. See that's what's called hypocrisy.

Worse than his lst amendment right to speak is the fact that he “caved”. Nothing wrong with his comment.
He should get a pension like any other civil servant and that is it. Who the hell do they think they are?? demi-gods. High brow civil servants is all they are that is it. Yeah, we need a change alright.

Karma. That is all I will say. Once again, you can’t fix stupid.
I suspect that , other than non-Ovoters, the white guilt Ovoters will be burned the most by this. Certainly the low income people/Ovoter block will be ecstatic because now they will have free healthcare.. along with their EBT cards and phones
Will this make the white guilt Ovoters wake up? but.. wait.. haha.. it is too late.. you did it to yourselves ( and the rest of America).. you were warned
does that include Dead people and Illegals along with prison felons they are the ones who voted for Obamacare and Obama

Actually when one says “Redskins” my first thought is of a potato, not a person.
