  • Hitch’s wit and intellect scoured away nonsense and always made the truth shine and sparkle. So sad that we never had the opportunity to see Hitch debate Glenn Beck. The closest we got was when he debated Al Sharpton.

  • Make that modern. And while the gestapo here is moderating my contribution, they might be interested in how poorly their boss’s GBTV experiment is dong:

The deck chairs are sliding on the SS Delusion…lolol

  • People and their superstitions are silly in a modwern world where science has revealed so much truth.

  • Let’s find out who is responsible for these ads – both at Benneton and at the ad agency. Then we can create some images of them humping turkeys and see how they like it.

  • Old Spermin’ Herman the One Eyed German is a hoot. I bet he’d get a kick out of this:

  • Beck is trying to get Herman Cain to appear on his radio show, but does Cain realize that Beck’s website The Blaze has allowed a participant named “BIGLIPNAGGER” on here since June 3rd? He may have, since I emailed his campaign the info and the links a while back. In any event, The Blaze has never taken any action on this racist forum member.

  • If you believe Beck has some sort of inside track on understanding world events, you are simply mistaken. Judging by the increasing number of people who are beginning to see through his crazy narrative on this website and via emails I have received, there is still hope however.

Some things to be aware of: First, Beck said the Arab Spring uprising would spread to Europe and then across the globe and into the United States. He was dead wrong. Do not confuse the OWS, which Sharpton, Jackson, Pelosi, marxists, Moveon.org and many other groups are trying to co-opt, with the Arab Spring uprising. Its origin is unrelated to the conflict in the ME.

Secondly, Beck has a long history of making extremely generalized predictions. He’s like the guy who sees a forecast of 3 weeks of heavy rain who then runs around predicting flooding and calamity (and starts merchandising based on it.) Beck is attempting to use religion to position himself as some sort of prophet and seer, and he is neither. Times are tumultuous, and everyone needs to be especially cautious of people who use it to garner a following. Look out of this character Glenn Beck. He’s out for money (YOUR money) and career. He may well also be mentally and emotionally unstable (crying etc.) and delusional. Here’s a prediction for you: someone from Beck’s inner circle will finally say “ENOUGH” and spill the beans on this guy. You can count on that, so be on the lookout for it, and don’t let Beck take you

  • Here’s a rundown of Beck’s early enemies, and how he made them:

    Liz Curtis
As a young DJ on WRKA in Louisville, Kentucky, the 21-year-old Beck needled Curtis, a rival talk-radio host who was known to be overweight. For two years, Beck cracked endless, “increasingly unhinged” fat jokes at her expense, “employing Godzilla sound effects to simulate Curtis walking across the city.” Curtis never responded, which “only seemed to fuel Beck’s hunger for a response.”

    Bruce Kelly
Another rival, this time during Beck’s stint at Phoenix station Y-95, saw the ugly side of the radio host’s personality in “one of the cruelest events in the history of morning radio,” writes Zaitchik. A couple of days after Kelly’s wife had a miscarriage, Beck called her live on air to ask if it was true. When she said yes, he joked how Kelly “can’t do anything right — he can’t even have a baby.” Kelly and Beck had once been friends, but after this stunt their friendship “soured beyond repair.”

    PETA
Beck made an early enemy out of the advocacy group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals after a stunt on WBSB in Baltimore when he announced he would place a live gerbil in a bank’s pneumatic tube system. Beck then pretended the gerbil had been eaten by a snake, and proceeded to “kill” the snake live on air. PETA picketed the station every day for weeks, according to a former programmer at the station.
