  What’s the problem Kindling? Are you afraid that your kids will get their mythical figures confused? When I figured out that Santa was just a myth (there was no such thing as magic and there’s no way that fat old guy was making down our chimney without it) I started wondering about religion too. I asked my very religious grandpa if I was born in an arab country if I’d still be a Christian. He seemed a little annoyed. LOL

  Earlier this week, Glenn said that since there’s no proof that GOD doesn’t exist, Atheism is a religion because atheists only have faith in the belief that GOD doesn’t exist and faith in a belief makes it a religion. So if one doesn’t believe in Santa Claus, and there is no proof that Santa doesn’t exist, by Glenn’s logic, Calypso Louie Farrakhan is trying to create a new religion based on a lack of belief in Santa Claus. It’s an outrage.

The realists among us are left to do all the heavy lifting and try and fix this mess while you religious nutters sit back with your hands folded placidly waiting for Jesus/Christ/Yeshua to miraculously reappear and float you off to paradise. Well, I have news for you: Jesus is NOT “returning.” You won’t believe me now, but in the future, if you’re lucky enough to be conscious and aware when you’re near death’s door, you’ll believe me then, because your prediction will still not have come true.
