  DRATTASTIC: Exactly right. Doesn’t matter which President has ever done this….inappropriate at any time! Marines are expert killing machines, with honor in one hand and sacrifice in the other. No umbrellas. Should have had his p i ss-boy Jay Carney do that for him while the Marine stands stalwart and ready to kill something at all times.

  Richmond…..one of the pioneer tracks, a driver favorite, and awesome fun. It’s a little short track that thinks its a speedway.

  You’re right about the empty seats….it’s partly the economy but mostly the management who are changing NASCAR to be a non-stop PR campaign. Fans are getting sick of that crap.

  Bristol….the loudest track in all of motorsports. It’s like sitting inside a giant speaker.

  To anyone who has never been to a NASCAR race, you are missing out.

  I go to at least one of the Richmond races every year and it never ceases to amaze me how awesome the whole experience is. Outside of the grandstands, before you even enter through the gates, its a carnival atmosphere…..vendors setup large booths with games and freebees, the military branches have elaborate displays, car manufacturers with owner pavilions, lots of food and drink, and lots of tailgating. ALL of this is free, as there’s no charge for parking. Sometimes the tailgating and browsing is more fun than the race.

  No other sport offers fans this kind of experience. And about the coolers….yeah Jonathon…we can bring in our coolers with anything we want as long as there’s no glass. Bring in a bucket of chicken, man, they don’t care! Where else can you do that? Every race is a major event that draws folks from all over the country, impacting the local economies like no other sport.

  The problem with same-sex marriage, is that it’s like saying you should have a “two-wheeled unicycle” ….. makes no sense according to the definition. Marriage is clearly defined…union of a man and a woman. Is that what this is about?….changing the meaning of words?
