  One afternoon a friend had something fly nearly directly at the side of his head. He reached up to block what he assumed was something someone threw at him, but when he brought his hand back there was a sparrow in it. No one was more surprised than he was.

  This is right near me – That stretch of road is notorious for overzealous police (maybe due to boredom?). Just down the road in Nassau people used to get pulled over for going 1 or 2 mph over the limit. I avoid it whenever possible.

  Soy: with me it started around when GB began on fox and Levin was constantly insulting him and a few other radio/tv hosts, seemingly without reason – it truly made no sense (I think it was the year Glenn was at CPAC). It’s sad because I agree with him on tons of stuff, but his personality and the idea of going after ideological friends pushed me so far away during that time I never bothered going back. I don’t think he’s on the air in my area anymore anyway though.

  Gotta tell ya, you seem to be frothing over nothing on this one. Not a big fan of the left side of the republican party, but what would be their benefit here? Also note that if you search google for “irs targeted” you get a wide array of headlines, only a few of which fit what you’re claiming.
  I’ve been finding more and more as a libertarian I’m being associated in other’s minds with silly things like the hysterics above. Even if it were true, I can’t find a reason to give a crap when much more important things are going on.

  This actually might not have been a setup: there was an edit right after whatshisname says “go ahead and pay for your gasoline…” You can tell also that there was more to that sentence that got cut out. Probably cut for time (20-30 seconds waiting for card payment etc.)
