For some reason, when I see the word “nonplussed,” I now think of it as a Common Core way of saying “Subtract.”
Johnny had 10 apples. If Johnny had 10 circles, with 1 tick mark representing each apple, and then “nonplussed” 1 tick mark from 4 circles, how many circles do you need to draw with 2 tick marks showing how many apples Johnny has left? How do you feel about Johnny and the apples if he ate them himself or sold them for his own selfish profit? How many circles would you need if Johnny “nonplussed” the apples to distribute them to the collective? Which apples do you feel better about?

And to be fair, only 3 or 4 of the pride actually attacked. A lot of them were just standing around waiting for their entitlement to the others’ hard work. Lol. Still awesome though :)

Thank you Avenger. I saw that too. I see that a lot in “Man Eating” shark stories because the nurse shark’s teeth do look rather scary, but they are quite harmless.

The thing I’ve never understood about this whole argument is that nobody is addressing the reality that all people in this country have the same rights. A gay man CAN get married. To a woman. Just as a gay woman has the same legal right to marry a man. They are actually demanding extra rights that the rest of us don’t have (or necessarily want). And for that matter, if it really is about freedom, and the right to express love, then why can’t I be married to two women, if all 3 of us are consenting to the situation? I don’t really see the difference.

I just moved to Las Vegas 2 weeks ago. I might go look for this vet and say hi, and drop him a few bucks. I know exactly what hotel he’s standing across the street from.

What occurs to me is that we now have a window of opportunity to use certain words in our comments that normally get filtered out by the Blaze. At least until they adjust their filters… 1′m ju57 54y1n’…

I never have more than 3 Venti’s a day. Because 4 would just be crazy.

“… during a “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” event at the White House.” Um… am I missing something? If he’s unemployed, why was she there? Who was she at work with??

Yes, the suits. I laughed the most at that.

I was thinking the same thing. One Code if you are the intended target of the drone strike, another code if you are just collateral damage from a drone strike (an unintentional consequence…) And another Code if the drone strike takes place near a pet store, and you are struck by a flying turtle from the explosion.

I’d like to see the Occupy movement show up and occupy the New York Marathon. They should be protesting this.

Not much to say about this. Much respect for the fallen, and those who stand at the duty of their post. We appreciate all you do.

Hand, stick, or what about the remote control? I’ve always found that a good whack to the back of the head with my TV remote quickly changes her mind when she complains about bringing me another beer.

    It’s fake. Photoshop.

I’m a staunch, constitutional conservative, but I see a lot of hypocrisy in most of these posts/comments. That’s why I can’t stand with Republicans. Government intrusion is just that. But as long as it fits your ideology, then it’s OK. I’m not pro abortion, I’m pro individual freedom, responsibility, and accountability. This law is wrong.

Who are the working class going to complain about when there is no longer any businesses, corporations, or wealthy to pay them for there work?

    @ KJM
It almost sounds like she says “I pledge THEE allegiance…” as in she’s pledging YOUR allegiance, but not her own. Very strange. Sounds like something she doesn’t believe in anyway, so you’re welcome to pledge yours, but she won’t pledge hers.
