    @decentof56

    I understand your confusion regarding Jews and Catholics but as a Catholic I believe that both faiths have been very co-opted in part because of being very afraid to strongly take a firm stand on probably just about anything. I know that sounds very stupid but I think alot of Catholics and Jews that read these comments would agree with me from their experience of the outside world.

    So, did you actually read and fully comprehend what I wrote or is that your generic troll-response that challenges the authority of your Lord and Savior Glenn Beck and his propaganda mill called The Blaze?

    Um… A Game of Thrones is based word for word on a book that was first published in 1996. It can’t be about the Bush and Obama Administrations. They did not exist yet. The writer of this article needs to learn how to do research instead of fantasizing bizarre political motives where there were none.

    @4XEVERYTHING

    You are so right! My family that I married into has been business in Food Production/Agriculture and it is not only the retailer who pays the price it goes completely back to the producer. This is your FDA, EPA, and USDA scam. Even with what Glenn has talked about as far as an upcoming world food shortage most people have no idea how deep this problem will effect this country. We are a country that for the most part has never missed a meal. How fast will people change when they run out of food?

    FloridaCracker & BILLY HOLLOWELL

    Thank you Thank you for your post! I have seen many an article that BILLY writes where he slants info. regarding the Catholic Church even going so far as to then get opinion regarding it from a Messianic Jew who he does not even name as if they are an expert. I think this is one reason why whenever the word “Catholic” is in an article of his so many of the comments completely trash not only the Catholic Church but Catholics in general. I have never seen vitriol like this before.

    BILLY PLEASE CLEAN YOUR ACT UP! I WILL BE PRAYING FOR YOU!!

    @noroomforsocialism

    I guess I’m just a simple uneducated Catholic (even through college) that still believes in the golden rule. Cutting, pasting, to make it all fit my needs and elevate myself just ain’t where I’m at.

    @Pear2284

    You really hit the nail right on the head. I also am a Catholic and get very saddened by the complete disrespect some of the people have that comment on these stories. I guess they live by the “Do unto to others and then split” scripture verse.

    Sorry but Joel was born to an ethnic Jewish father who married a Christian mother. I believe they both came to the US and began to worship at an Evangelical church after which at some point they had bouncing baby Joel. He has always been a Christian. I read “Inside the Revolution” and found it to be very informative. However, I do not understand why just this month Joel was the guest speaker at a conference at “Olive Tree Ministries” with the lovely Jan Markell and her merry band of religious bigots. Now before I start off a firestorm anyone wondering about St. Jan “religious radio jock” just listen online to any of her online radio recordings regarding “Mormon” or say “Catholic” get the names of these people she has on and then search on them. If you wonder why Glenn says often “SET ASIDE YOUR THEOLOGICAL DIFFERENCES,” all you have to do is see how these people from LOW PLACES like to stir up lies, bigotry, hatred all in the name of “Biblical” or “Scriptural” truth. I KNOW WHO’S SIDE I AM ON!!!

    Anybody else notice that the majority of their signs are in English. I guess English is now the primary language of the GREEN movement.

    @BY FAITH

    I have to say you are great I don’t know how you do it. These fundamentalists (or whatever they claim to be) really scare the he double toothpicks out of me. How can they not see all of the bigotry, intolerance, religious slavery and hatred they promote. Their god is a holy book and for enough of them their religion is the “Rapture.” There is no way any of this leads to anything but darkness.

    Oh also RPP your line gave me a good laugh. Thank you for levity.

    @OUT

    It is obvious this argument makes you very happy, powerful and arrogant. This is what faith is for you. How sad for someone to claim they are non-denominational yet hold such ill-will for the denomination that stood first. I really feel sorry for you and my prayers will be for you.

    Thank you so much for all the help from great Catholic apologetics. My orginal point with “why isn’t this good enough for other denominations” has been well proven. OUT whether you consider yourself a “Fundamentalist” or not your methodology completely reflects that school. I believe it is a matter of RESPECT for other faiths. I also find this methodology to lead to CONDESCENSION and DISRESPECT. It also appears very geared toward the goal of ONE RELIGION. Now I know I am going to get an earfull!!!!!

  • October 19, 2011 at 9:25am

    Garym, the Catholic Doctrine states that we believe all are judged through Christ. In other words Christ is the judge. I don’t know how much clearer this can be, why isn’t this good enough for other denominations or are they not really informed in the truth of our faith and why? The one difference that I can see is that we are taught not to judge others. Question with boldness!!!!!

    Hats off to the NYPD MOUNTED PATROL as a horse owner I have great appreciation for the amount and level of training that go into this type of security. A Toledo, OH area Mounted Patrol Officer was quoted as saying “You can mess with me but never my horse.”
