This Scripture covers both ends of the spectrum. We can do all things meaning there is nothing we can not achieve so long as it is in Christ Jesus. This means we can endure the worst of trials, and it means we can do things and achieve things we in our selves could never attain to. The Bible is our blueprint for life. God always says who we are and what we can do. Religion always tells us what were not and cant do.

Lets set aside religion and simply look at the facts. Most people do not realize that evolution has zero evidence to back up its claims that’s right zero. Granted there are many very intelligent people who have come up with theories and written books, but that does not change the fact that there remains no proof to back their beliefs up. So, in all honesty evolution requires faith on the part of them that believe it because they have nothing else but faith. On the other hand there are 2,500 prophecies in the Bible 2,000 of them have come to pass with 100% accuracy the remaining 500 deal with future end time events. With those odds and that staggering proof of the accuracy of what the Bible predicts for the future I feel very comfortable in believing what the Bible says about the past, including creation. I simply don’t have enough faith to be an evolutionist.

It would have ruined three lives. Instead it just killed one life to spare the other two from being ruined. YOUR SICK !!!

So by his logic why not get rid of free speech and freedom of religion as well. What an Idiot.

Why are people surprised by this? Jesus said in Mark 16 we would cast out Demons. Why do people laugh at this? Because Jesus told us the things of God are foolishness to the world, because the world cannot discern the spiritual things for they are spiritually discerned. Demons are very real I assure you. But through Christ we have the authority over All the works of Darkness !
Maybe because they were quite obviously acting, and very poorly at that.
I understand your 'assurance", but that doesn't make it automatically true that "demon possession" is real. Are there "entities" out there that would be construed as "demons"? I don't know. Never seen one. But many of the "misdiagnosis of demon possession" was most likely someone with a diagnos-able mental disorder.
They are surprised because the church did a poor job of teaching the scriptures. They eliminated the supernatural side and watered it down to suit the average person. The church doesn't even talk about speaking in tongues because it might offend someone. But the fact is that Mother Mary and the apostles all spoke in tongues in the upper room. You do not hear any of that. So when you hear about this story, people are shocked. I am not saying this was a real example of exorcism, but if it was people would not take it seriously. They probably would take a medium more to heart than this.
Why don't they believe...well, because they do not follow Christ...that is why they don't believe. They do their best to try to make us look like fools, but in the end the fools will be bowing their knee before Jesus and confessing his name....we'll have the last laugh.

Seeing as how Bob Beckle is a Catholic…You know, the ones with the Leader who has the funny hat, whose followers pray to a bunch of dead people. And parents have to think twice before letting their young children alone with them. He who lives in glass houses.

Does anyone really take Gregg Gutfeld seriously ? He is clearly the comic relief on the five. I like Gregg but I don’t put much weight into what he says, I just chuckle and then listen to what Dana or Andrea have to add which by the way, always seems to be two or three days later than Glenn and the blaze releases it.

The world does not want to hear the truth. The world loves their sin. For that matter so do the people of God. That is part of being a disciple of Christ. To lay down your own will in submission to the Lord’s will. When someone treats me badly I want to punch them, don’t we all ? But I submit my will and walk in Love as Christ commanded. So if someone desires the same sex, they have a choice, obey God or follow the desires of your own flesh. But when your life turns into a huge mess don’t blame God, He warned us what would happen if we didn’t follow The correct path. God’s commands aren’t meant to deny us anything, they are meant to spare us from something. Why must we fight God? We don’t.
The Apostle Paul who under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit wrote 2/3 of the New Testament, warned the various Churches in his day to avoid those who teach a Gospel other than the one you have heard and received from us. He said to avoid these people and their teachings, that they were not of God. We are still dealing with this spirit of deception 2,000 years later. The cannon of the Bible we have today is the full and perfect cannon of God. These Gnostic Gospels are nothing more than a new attempt by an ancient spirit to deceive and confuse. Finally the Church of Jesus Christ is also called the Bride (wife) of Christ. Christ’s Church is Christ’s one and only Bride.
He wrote 2 thirds of the books, not the actual text. The largest contributor in terms of content to the new testament was luke (luke acts)
What do we learn from this fragment?
This fragment of papyrus has words on it that proves nothing.
We have to ask Who wrote the words? When was it written? What is the context surround the words? Who was being written about? Was it about the wife belonging to Jesus the shoemaker? Or Jesus the cousin of the man writing it in the fourth century?
The fragment proves nothing and the only thing about it is, it is an old piece of papyrus with words on it, that’s all.
The determination of evil ones to try to paint a erroneous picture of the Anointed Son of God is really evil and suicidal. They should honour the Son, not be lying about him.
and the canon that is the bible of today wasn't compiled until way later. Selected from the vast amount of "gospels" that were in circulation at the time. It doesn't make the gospels rejected less or more true. Most of the gnostic Gospels just really don't add anything important to christianity and I can see why they were left out. Some are downright weird.
The canon of the Bible, is what the Catholic Church has said is canonical. They settled on this canon somewhere around 400AD, at the Council of Nicaea. It is at this Council, where the issue of Jesus' divinity was settled.
Early Christian history is fascinating. Not all was as you wish it to be, after 2000 or so years of indoctrination and inertia. Deal with it.
Could Jesus have been married? Sure!
Does his being married, detract from his message or his teachings? Nope.
If you accept the idea that Jesus was married, what comes along with that notion?
Jesus was human, and lived the human experience. Perhaps this experience helped to perfect God's understanding of Man, as Jesus' death and resurrection helped us to better understand God. Is that so bad?
Jesus considered women to be important, heart and soul, to the Church, and to be able vessels to hold and transmit his teachings. I fail to see anything wrong with that notion, either.
What would it HURT, if Jesus was married? Leave aside inertia and dogma which, if you look back at the early Church and early Christianity, is a bit of a mess. What would Jesus' status as a husband (and father?) actually hurt? This is a serious question.
The Jewish historian Josephus of the first century C.E. mentions some twelve persons, other than those in the Bible record, bearing the name 'Jesus'.
An ancestor of Jesus Christ, evidently in his mothers line is mentioned in Luke 3:29 as having the name Jesus. Many people had the name Jesus, as they also do today.
So what person named Jesus is this papyrus fragment, written in the fourth century, talking about?
Talk about an erroneous picture, both literally and figuratively. The picture they paint is someone who was married. Which would actually be keeping the commandment "be fruitful and multiply". Married or not it does not change Messiah's message. You and the xians however do. There was nobody in Scripture ever named "jesus" and there is no translation in ANY language for the name "jesus". His name was/is Yeshua.
And what's the all the Anglo looking picture on this page? HE WAS/IS A JEW!
Jesus is the Latin form of the Greek Iesous' which corresponds to the Hebrew, Yeshua' or Yehohshua' and means "Jehovah Is Salvation".
DTOM, you said; "There was nobody in Scripture ever named “jesus” and there is no translation in ANY language for the name “jesus”. His name was/is Yeshua."
DTOM, Prove to us all that There was nobody in Scripture ever named “jesus” and there is no translation in ANY language for the name “jesus”.
His name was Yeshua.
" The cannon of the Bible we have today is the full and perfect cannon of God." - Big-Rev
Hmm. Which version exactly? http://www.allbibles.com/bibleversions.asp
"Christ‘s Church is Christ’s one and only Bride." - Big-Rev
Where did He say this? Do you have a chapter/verse?
One of a number ...John 3:27-36 gives a complete explination.
Luke = 52 chapters
Paul = 79 chapters ( not including Hebrews , which most attribute to Paul)
So long as my math is correct you are partically correct ...peace
Frustrating isn't it? Trying to defend God's Word the Bible against the huge tide of irreverent thinking is difficult.
Keep the faith my brother. Philippians 3:18-19
@ 4truth2all: I see nothing in my Bible (King James Version) in the verses you referenced that gives any definitive indication whatsoever that Big-Rev's assertion is correct.
Not sure what to say ...it's right there
Please explain with a little detail

These People are real classy aren’t they? They hurt their cause when they do this kind of thing because average Americans know this type of behavior is obnoxious and disrespectful and just wrong. It’s even more disgusting to act this way in the White House. It is irreverent to the office of the Presidency and America itself.

Right on Gary. You speak the truth concerning the Tithe. I Only wish more Christians would look for themselves and find the truth concerning this subject. God Bless.
June 16, 2012 at 8:54pm
you shall eat the tithe …Deuteronomy 14:23 . Money was NEVER Tithed upon. Not in The Old or New Testaments. Many good Christians live under this man made burden today, and are manipulated and guilt-ed into giving 10% of their gross income. Give money when you want, if you want, and the amount you want. don’t be duped by greedy preachers who lie to you any longer.
24 But if the journey is too long for you, so that you are not able to carry the tithe, or if the place where the Lord your God chooses to put His name is too far from you, when the Lord your God has blessed you, 25 then you shall exchange it for money, take the money in your hand, and go to the place which the Lord your God chooses. 26 And you shall spend that money for whatever your heart desires: for oxen or sheep, for wine or similar drink, for whatever your heart desires; you shall eat there before the Lord your God, and you shall rejoice, you and your household. Deuteronomy 14:24-26
You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”2 Corinthians 9:7 NLT

This is the same woman who told all the ”young people” to go and convince their parents and grandparent to vote for Obama in 2008 because they didn’t know any better they were just not smart enough to understand how brilliant Obama was. She was, is, and always will be, an Idiot.

It’s not a sin to be Gay, it’s a sin to practice Homosexuality. You can be delivered from the Demonic oppression that enslaves people with Gay Desires. Jesus Loves ALL Gay people but on Judgement day if you are participating in Homosexual activities you will not enter Heaven. These Poor people are being deceived by Satan. Jesus is Love. But He is also Judge as well.
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,
