  I was born in LA but live in CA now. I disagree that 75% of the state are idiots. I really think it is mainly the San Fran bay area and Los Angeles. If you take those areas out of CA, the rest of the state is pretty conservative. I propose we make it North California and South California; we split the middle with North California taking the eastern half of the middle and South California taking the western coast on the middle all the way up to and including the bay area. That way North California would then be perfect. How can I talk someone into proposing that one?

  I’m a regular guy with a great wife and kids, a job I’ve worked hard to get and a business I’ve worked hard to keep, and I struggle to pay my bills, my educational loans, and I still wouldn’t change a thing in my life. I’m also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or a Mormon. I can say there are good and bad everywhere and in everything. Each church will have a pathetic example of what the church actually teaches or stands for. You can’t judge the entire church buy one or a few bad examples when the vast majority of church-going members are great and excellent people. You may disagree with points of doctrine taught at various religions, but that is why each religion exists. Baptists are different from Catholics, Episcopalians are different from The Church of God, and Mormons are different from them as well. I’ve never hated any other religion. I know a fair amount of a couple other religions and I don’t hate them. I don’t get why people have such strong opinions about my church. The vast majority of church going people at my church are very nice with everyone they come in contact with. We try to treat everyone as Christ would. The leaders of our Church are always respectful to other religions and I’ve never heard them say one negative thing, ever. Why do others who are christian say negative and mean things about us? It is truly a puzzle and incomprehensible. It is also not christian-like, at least based on what the Holy Bible

  which side always starts the riots, shows the hatred first, and spits in the eyes of those that serve for their own protection? I think we all know.

  this is all horribly sad, the guy was a nut case, plain and simple.

  the political aftermath, first and foremost, should not even be occurring, but since it is, it is based on a pile of crap. we are now to the point where we aren’t even able to share our opinions. even more sad than that is that so many citizens in our country believe everything their spoon fed without thinking on their own, they’re lemmings! this is the country with cowboys, with PBR, with capitalism, open to all inventions the human mind can imagine, there is nothing wrong with us as we were before politics got in the way of our natural course. whoever hates freedom just move to another country. most others have so much less than we do in terms of actual freedom; actually they all have less! go live over there as i have experienced and you’ll find out what less freedom will do to a society. just move out please. we like it free here. if you don’t then leave. we love our freedom and those that died to preserve it. i hope it does not come to that for our generation, but i would do anything to make it better for my children.

  dude, what is your deal man? we are free to act as we choose. we all know that. it is a basic human right to have freedom in our life and the ability to choose whatever we want. but we also will reap the consequences associated with out decisions. the stupid dad could choose to do this and he did just as you choose to disbelieve in a Supreme Being even though He does exist and he is your Father in Heaven. You can choose whatsoever you desire in this world. But, there will be consequences that follow all our choices. don’t call Your Father in Heaven sick. He is not sick, what is sick is the quickly enlarging group of people devoid of compassion, charity, and basic respect towards other people because they dehumanize others to the point they are beneath a common household pet. It is due to twisted truths that are not the work of God but of Lucifer that are made into traps and snares so people will believe and trust in human philosophy more than in the truth which is of our Father and His Son, Christ. So this idiotic “father” that stabbed his 6 year old 20 times, it is his fault, not God’s.
  And yes, modern medicine and science will help this little boy recover and will play a huge role in letting him live i’m sure, but from where do you think all this enlightenment came to invent all we have now and all we continue to invent for all fast paced medical advancements?
  I work in the medical field, I have a doctorate, i am a doctor and see patients daily, the more i learn about the body the more “proof” i see that there is a Supreme Being, the Lord Almighty, who created us and who deserves the credit for all that is good, even those we take for granted. But please don’t call him sick. That is slander.

  the Lord did not mean for the father to do that to the boy. what is wrong with you? men are free to choose for themselves what they will do. the Lord does not desire for evil to happen, but it happens based on decisions we are free to make. if that idiot dumbass of a father was surrounding himself with godless and soulless things influences then one day he’s gonna lose enough of his soul to do something idiotic and horrible; that is what he did. what a dumbass. i hope the dad dies a slow death in this life and is punished for what he did to that little boy, his own son, in the next life. i have a soon to be six year old boy. if anyone ever attempted something of the such they would be looking into the barrel of something they would rather avoid.
  but back to the point, evil is not of the Lord. we can allow evil influences of Satan into our lives based on our own choices and the consequences that follow. That my friend is what leads to a stupid father stabbing his son 20 times, not the Lord intending for it to happen. He, the Lord, would never intend for a little child to have that happen. It’s due to our free will and agency we have been given and based on how we decide to steward that responsibility.
  sorry man if i came off a little gruff at the beginning of my reply. i just can’t believe a father would do that to a child. i’m stunned that some one can lack such basic, at the most basic level, of compassion and love for their own child to do something like that.

  when people pull this kind of crap its tough to even read the heading for the article. i have children and if anyone ever did anything like that to one of mine i would have a very difficult time not hunting him down and making sure he left this life very slowly. this is horrendous. i know this kind of thing is up to the Lord to give him his true punishment deserved, but i would have a hard time not going for retribution. there are more godless and heartless people now. men’s hearts shall fail them in the last days. that is what we see here- no love, no responsibility, no compassion. it was a 6 year old for Christ’s sake. how can you do that to a little child? i will never understand the person who does something like this; i will always understand the father who goes after someone who does something like this.
