President Obama Has Nothing But Praise for Hillary Clinton’s ‘Thoughtfulness’ and ‘Discipline’ in ‘60 Minutes’ Interview

I’ve been a repub now for close to twenty years, but I’m now seriously considering abandoning them and returning to the libertarian party. I really think that we need to start transitioning into a new party, IMO, the libertarian party. As conservatives, we keep getting caught in the same logic trap, “well, if you water down the vote, you might as well vote for the progressives, ie, the democrat party.”. If we keep waiting until the month before the election, we’ll always be stuck with what the Republican party jams into nomination. If we start abandoning the Republican party now, we can start swelling the ranks of the libertarian party. As was made abundantly clear in the last election and in every congressional showdown since then, the RINO’s hold the cards in the repub party and sure as he ll aren’t going to let conservatives threaten their cushy gigs. The libertarian platform, with it’s live and let live approach based on non-aggressive policy making, has a much better chance of appealing to a public that is extremely jaded with the typical BS coming out of Washington. I was a Santorum supporter but, unfortunately, he has too much religiosity built into his approach and freaked out too many people. The bottom line is that we, as party members, need to act proactively before we’re up against the wall again being told that Christy or some other RINO is really the only “electable” option we have against the opposition.

‘Worst Day of My Presidency’: Recalling Sandy Hook Massacre, Obama Vows to Put ‘Full Weight’ Behind Gun Control Legislation
December 30, 2012 at 12:35pm
OF course, the obvious question that wasn’t asked: Mr. President, if you are skeptical that having armed guards at schools will be an effective deterrent against school shootings, would you be okay with having the armed guards at your children’s school removed?
Sen. Feinstein Posts Proposed ‘Assault Weapons’ Legislation — and It Includes Provisions on Handguns and ‘Grandfathered’ Weapons
December 27, 2012 at 11:30pm
I am so tired of hearing the argument that we don’t need “military style” weapons. If we don’t need them for protection, why is it that the police are so hot for these weapons? Apparently, only police ever have to face well armed bad guys. I guess we are supposed to be satisfied with cops showing up after the whackos have finished killing all the unarmed/underarmed victims. Maybe we’re supposed to rely on the nutjobs killing themselves before they reach us.
Obama to Boehner: ‘You Get Nothing — I Get That for Free’
December 23, 2012 at 4:07pm
It feels good to complain, but Obama and the ruling class are well beyond caring about our complaints at this point (if they ever really cared to begin with). IMHO, the only real option taxpayers have is to force the IRS to force every penny from us . We taxpayers have been way too compliant and have made it way too easy to shear of us of our hard earned money. The Tea Party needs to turn into a tax revolt that includes withdrawal of voluntary compliance with the tax code. If enough of us refuse to file properly, etc, the IRS will be overwhelmed with audits. Sure, many will eventually be forced to pay penalties or worse, but we really need to take a lesson from the Alinskyites (ex, Obama), who worked at deliberately overwhelming our bureaucracies. If Ghandi organized the East Indians to eventually topple the British without a full bloody revolt, the taxpayers ought to able to do the same thing with the elites who have become entrenched in our Nation’s capital. In the long run, unless we start to organize a mass civil disobedience soon and accept a certain level of risk of financial penalties, we may end up being forced against the wall into a much more desperate fight later.
Poll: Republican Party Is The Most Disliked Political Institution in America
December 14, 2012 at 12:31am
Yeah, that’s it. Conservatives are done for. How come when libs lose, they work harder to better sell their message, but when repubs lose, they always can be counted on to offer a weaker, less passionate argument? Repubs are apparently more than willing to compromise themselves into utter irrelevance. Repubs do a TERRIBLE, horrific, utterly pathetic (I wish I could add even more emphasis) job of selling conservatism to the zombie crowd. Whatever conservative ideas and principles they may have once believed in, they’re now just empty platitudes I can’t stand to listen to Boehner try to defend capitalism through his gin soaked innanities. McConnel is even worse, coming off like the worst vacuum cleaner salesman. Not that the zombie crowd is capable of being enlightened; they’re too comfortable with their self-serving good guy/bad guy cliche’s.

Grahm and McCain are just playing us again. They sound all tough, etc, on military related issues and then we’re apparently placated enough to overlook the fact that Grahm (and probably McCain) are going to rush in to side with the Dems on the budget fiasco. I don’t know who I hate more, the RINO posers or the progressive drones.
Is This Really the End? Hostess Says Talks to Prevent Shutdown Have Failed
November 20, 2012 at 10:34pm
I wouldn’t be surprised if Obama interjects himself into this dispute and tries to force Hostess into accepting some sort of deal with the unions. Perhaps some sort of disguised bailout? Indirect pressure applied through the judges, etc. After all, this situation is a prime opportunity to enhance union power and bring some more “greedy corporate execs” under increased control. He did say something to the effect that he wanted to do to the rest of the economy what he did with GM. Plus this doesn’t look good so close to his re-historic election. Of course, Moochelle might not want Hostess to survive anyway, so it’s a toss up, I suppose.

Echo, echo, echo… We are now within sight of the iceberg that our country is aimed at, we’re picking up speed, and the crew and passengers are all bickering about where the deck chairs should be placed. Fix the election system? Change the culture? Revamp the education system? Get rid of progressive judges? Get rid of RINO’s within the GOP? Abolish the Fed? Etc, etc…. It all sounds good, but it is just noise-making in an echo chamber. We don’t have the time or ability to change the culture of corruption that has led us to this point. The only thing that matters now is to use what power we currently have, not plot about how to get more power. Repubs have the House, but they never act like they do. If the tables were turned, do you think Pelosi would be as willing to compromise as Boehner is? Sure, the libs have the mass media always willing to make their moves look prettier, but ultimately, the libs never concede power until it is pried from their fingers and won’t overlook ANY option when it comes to increasing that power. Repubs, on the other hand, are quick to concede power “to get things done” because, ultimately, Congressmen on both sides know that accountability is only a vague threat dealt with every now and then. Taxpayers, on the other hand, are boxed in by the system even though we ultimately are the source of revenue propping it up. We need a Ghandi-esque figure who can lead a truly viable taxpayer boycott. That is really the only chance w
Bill Kristol: ‘It Won’t Kill the Country if We Raise Taxes a Little Bit on Millionaires’
November 11, 2012 at 7:12pm
IMO, it really DOESN”T MATTER what kind of candidate the Republicans offer up, whether religious or not. The election was decided not on any sort of theoretical or religious grounds. It is always about social parasites, those who will always vote Democrat because the Dems never say “No” when it comes to offering up other peoples’ money for a vote and will always support your lowest aspirations. The Republican party exists at this point as a remnant of an institution that used to support the productive sector of society; it is increasingly becoming just a convenient boogeyman that is used to get the parasites all worked up every couple of years. Do you really think that any one of those cretins who completely ignored every bad fact surrounding Obama in ’08 and again last Tuesday really are interested in ever challenging their own cliche’s about conservatives?! Not a chance. How many comments have been posted on just this article bemoaning religious conservatives “trying to cram their views down everybody’s” throat”? And yet Obama spent 20 years listening to the Rev. Wright scream about how evil the white man is and none of the enlightened crowd ever thought Obama might be too religiously extreme… If anything, the RINO’s and Moderates in the Repub party just look weak and unworthy of respect when they keep trying to hide their real views instead of trying to take on the screwed up views of the Obama supporters.
