  • @Keatonc33,

The word ‘regulated’ in the 2nd Amendment meant ‘trained’, not regulations.

  • Well, here we go again. Another “coincidence”? I doubt it. Since BP finally settled, another reason for higher gas prices had to be found, and… voila! Another platform explodes. There apparently is no end to the lengths this so-called preezy will go to do undermine and destroy America.

The ironic part is that the people who voted for him are going to be the first to start crying when gas hits $6.00+ per gallon. Then they’ll want to trade in their obamaphone for a gallon of gas. Can’t help but wonder if they’ll be able to start purchasing gas with EBT cards.

  • REALINDEPENDENT said “This President will not disgrace the office of the United States.”

Oops… too late. This so-called president has disgraced the office for the last four years and will do no differently this time. Oh, and before you go spewing your vitriol about me being a Repub, I’m NOT a Republican. I’m one of the Independents that DuhOne was feebly trying so hard to win. And this Independent thinks DuhOne sucks!

  • Beck said, “I don’t know what the future holds for business”

Well, I know what the future holds for my business. I closed the doors permanently this morning at 8AM. I wept when I had to tell my 15 employees that they were no longer going to have jobs. Those folks are like family to me. They said they understood, but I could see the dismay in their eyes. Fifteen years of working my **** off… down the crapper.

  • Oops… here’s the rest

Well, I for one am not just going to lay down like a dog in submission and allow them to walk all over me. There will be another day. There will be another election. There will be another candidate.

Out of the ashes of this defeat a Phoenix must rise. I’m not quite sure what I mean by that, but something deep inside me is telling me not to give up the fight. We can still win.

The situation we find ourselves in was not the result of a single election cycle and clawing our way out of it is going to take more than one, also. So what if we lost this time. There’s nothing we can do about it now… it’s done. We need to channel our energies to renew and rebuild our strength for the next battle.

Conservatives WILL eventually win the day because it’s our values that this nation was founded on. GOD is on our side. HE has not given up on us. HE is the one who instills within us the spirit we need to carry on. Can’t you feel it? Are you willing to just give up and wallow in the murk and slime that is Obama?

Well, I’m NOT!! And I hope I can count on you all to stand, too. And unless I’m really underestimating this group, I know I CAN count on each and every one of you.

    LET’S ROLL!!

  • I’ve been sitting here for hours reading thread after thread on several sites about last night’s debacle. I can’t understand, short of the election being stolen, what happened. At this point, like many others, I’m bordering on some kind of hurt, despair and maybe even a little depression. But, on the other hand my brain and my heart won’t let me go there.

Sure, we lost this battle. And it wasn’t necessarily a fair fight. But that’s not a good enough reason to kiss our country goodbye. What’s wrong with you people? Where’s your spirit?

I know it’s been somewhat crushed now that Obama is getting four more years to wreak his havoc on Lady Liberty. Mine has been, too. But at the same time the Veteran and biker in me has my brain working in overtime mode to figure out where we go and what we can do from here… how to turn this loss to our favor.

Losing this election is no reason to give up! What would have happened if our founders had given up after losing the first battle (or any battle for that matter) while they were fighting for our independence? Where would we be?

I believe our Founding Fathers ARE rolling in their graves. But it’s not because we lost this election. It’s because those of us who really believe in them and America are on the verge of conceding our country to the evil forces that are attempting to invalidate our Constitution. They have entrusted the survival of our Republic to us… and we’re on the cusp of letting them down. How sad.

  • Wisconsin should be a lock for him, also, but it’s in play also. In 2008 he won WI by 14 points and now he can’t even garner enough support the day before the election to say he’s ahead. I think he’s toast.

  • I live in Wisconsin. The right to open carry is written right into our state constitution. Authorities are not allowed to harass you for open carry even if someone calls and reports you. They will check your ID and run a check to look for felonies, but other than that there’s no problem. I prefer to concealed carry, but it’s nice knowing I have the option.

  • @KALLI : Actually, according to the accounts, Gen. Ham WAS ordered to stand down and not send his forces in. He said screw it and was going to send them anyway. Within a minute he was relieved of duty by his next-in-command. I believe his next-in-command was previously informed of what actions to take in that event because they suspected Gen Ham would do that because he was a good officer.

  • @ BUDDAH : I’m proud of you, and I’m sure your liberal handlers are as well. You’ve regurgitated your talking points well. Unfortunately so much of what you know is false. The Republican house has sent 30 jobs bills to the Senate. Guess what Dingy Harry did with ‘em. Tabled ‘em… ALL of ‘em. Wouldn’t even bring them up for an up and down vote. Know why? Because they were from Republicans. Reid is your obstructionist, not the Republicans. You know Harry… the same guy that has refused to pass a budget because “we don’t want the people to know how much money we’re spending”.
