  • Reminds me of a co-worker. Years ago, he got hostile with me over something job related I did. When I tried to logically explain myself, he ‘la la la’ed at me. I thought he was joking, so I laughed (something so clearly childish has to be a joke, right?), and continued explaining. This is when he literally stuck his fingers in his ears and ‘la la la’ed at me again. This is when I realized I was dealing with a child. This is a child who (not a supervisor) dictates how things happen in my office. And hides behind the union to do it.

  • Disney can’t do a worse job than Lucas. But then, I keep thinking Obama can’t get any worse, so don’t trust my instincts.

  • Even funnier, I was listening to Glenn’s podcast (about 5 pm) while reading the story and comments over at Ace of Spades blog. Some very punny comments there. I had to do a double take on the time this story was released, thinking Glenn knew about it beforehand. Once more, Glenn and company have the gift of prophecy. Seriously, there are scads of books that have been written, would be great for source material. If they can keep Lucas out of it, they could bring back the magic that Lucas screwed up so badly with Episodes I-III.

  • While I am certainly open to correction, to my knowledge, the BSA isn’t against gay boys being involved, it’s gay men in BSA leadership positions. Big difference. Most gay boys aren’t acting upon such things, probably have no idea of such things, just as most boys aren’t thinking sexually. The Sen should make the same distinctions, and the BS of NJ should act accordingly.

  • First thing first, I question the nature of the ‘threats’. The Left has a long history of squealing about being ‘threatened’, then when asked to see the threats, they demur. In the cases where legal action results in the ‘threatening’ emails are revealed, they are obnoxious at worst. If there are legitimate threats and Mr. Smith is truly threatened, I wish him and his family well. But from the original video (Let’s all remember here that Mr Smith is the one who filmed this video, put it on the internet for the world to see, and he was a high officer with personal information online for all to see. Lesson? Think before acting in acts of jackassery), Mr Smith appears to be…emotionally demonstrative. I would venture a guess (again, if I am wrong, I truly apologize) that Mr Smith is….overacting here.

If Mr Smith is the target of the Stormfront crowd, he truly has my sympathies. They are vile ‘people’, no better than the Gaystapo ‘No H8′ crowd Mr Smith is allied with.

As for his former employer, even if I agreed 100% with his views, I would still fire him. Where there is douchebaggery smoke, there is douchebaggery fire that I haven’t seen yet. You are opening my company to fire, making me look like a jackass for having you around, in a high office to boot.

Last word, props to Mr Smith for responding to requests from the media instead of doubling down.

  • Ummmm…Lieutenant Worf is putting Kate Middleton to shame….ummmmm…*giggle snort*

  • I’ve been a half mile above the treeline with lighting crackling all around, and on the Great Plains (3500′ above sea level), lighting crackling all around. At home while working, the storm cloud was over ten miles away. On the mountain, it was right over me. Either way, scares the crap out of you. Hunched down, only the balls of your feet touching ground is the way to go. Glad no one was hurt.

  • I’m a (probably permanent) single guy, so I can do whatever scent I wish. The dog never complains! :D I haven’t bought any of these yet, may try it out. I do more incense than candles, generally like cinnamon or sandalwood. My ideas for man candles?
    1. Pipe tobacco
    2. Pine and campfire
    3. Cutting torch/welder (love the smell of burning steel!)

Yeah, Glenn, only turned his back on us when we needed him most.
I don’t disagree with him, but I’ll be darned if I ever trust him again.
…and everytime I look at RINO Romney, I’m going to remember Glenn helped give him to us.

You and others are so full of it. If you actually listen or watch, you’d know that Glenn was against Romney in the primaries. So was I. We are where we are, you go with it. Does Romney save us? Nope. But have some intellectual honesty and don’t say Glenn gave us Romney. If you actually ever watch or listen, tell me. Who did Glenn support in the primaries?

  • The Federal Gubmint *IS* (are?) United States Citizens. TIme for the government (at all levels) answer to us, not the other way around. As was said, resist resist resist. I. Will. Not. Comply. Oh, and Blaze? Why isn’t Glenn talking about this one? If we could get a movement like I suggested earlier, we could have thousands of people to turn the feds back, so these people could have their water supply.
