  Sendthemeteors – That’s where you libs always screw up the argument. “Smaller magazines would mean fewer deaths”. That is a ridiculous position. I propose that a lot fewer people would have been shot if an armed law-abiding citizen had been in the vicinity with his own 30-round magazine. Loughner would have been taken down right away.

  If you want to prevent another mass murder, you don’t reduce the number of bullets in the perp’s gun, you increase the number of bullets in the guns pointed at the perp.

  People who want smaller magazines have never had to pass a firearms qualification under duress. Guess what? You miss a lot of shots when you are stressed out. Even the “easy” ones. Having more bullets is a GOOD thing. What if there are three bad guys and only one good guy with a gun? Again, you want more bullets.
