    Beautiful images. But what has happened to copy editors? The correct term is photomicrographer not microphotographer. It is not enough that the words be spelled correctly, we need to be using the right words. We need to get back to depending on the wetware (the brain) instead of the software.

    He’s talking about people making a “smart” business decision now, in response to being caught saying let’s destroy a business. If they wanted to really help people, let them put up their money to offer everyone discount mortgages of 1%. Then advertise that if your bank will not renegotiate your loan then come to us.
    What happens if the number of people defaulting doubles? Housing prices will fall, more people will be underwater. Stock market will drop, everyone who has a 401k or IRA will lose money. People will cut back on their spending, Companies will cut back jobs. Bank will have less capital to loan, so businesses would not be able to grow.
    Will this hurt the banks, yes. But it will hurt the poor and middle class so much more.
