People like Keaton have been corrected many times about the Bible. They don’t know anything about it, and they don’t care to learn anything about it. They will keep parroting the same bullcrap they read or heard somewhere without ever caring if it is true. To them it is true, because they like it. They are dumb on purpose and only a miracle will change them. So pray for them, they like that.

    HarryPotter-

I guess it’s safe to assume you think you were born that way?
(Comparing yourself to a left-handed person.)

What does that mean? Born that way? Are you a woman inside a man’s body or a man inside a woman’s body? Or a lesbian inside a man’s body? But then you would be attracted to women also, right? If you are a woman in a man’s body and you are attracted to another woman in a man’s body, doesn’t that make you lesbians? Why can’t you be attracted to a man in a woman’s body? It must be physical. It has to be. Otherwise you would have to be attracted to a heterosexual male or a man in a woman’s body. If you are a woman you should be attracted to a man. If you are a man you should be attracted to a woman.

I hope my questions don’t hurt anybody’s feeeeeeeeeelings. I wouldn’t want my thoughts to be soooooo offensive they have to delete my posts again. Bunch of turd snappers!!!!

Obama doesn’t look like my dad.
If Chris Rock had a dad, he would look like Obama.

Next year maybe she’ll poop on him at midnight. HA HA HA what a riot!!!
Real comedians make you laugh the old fashioned way.
Todays so called comedians have to shock you into uncomfortable giggles.
They are running out of ideas too. It’s gonna get real ugly if it continues.
Vulgar clowns without makeup is all they are.

We all need to get focused and stay focused.
    We also need to act!
    But what do we do?
The stupid people will keep out voting us.
What is the food, water, and guns in your closets going to do?
    What do we do?
Listen to the radio and get mad. “I did my part… I got mad!!!”
Read a story and talk to people about it? 95% of them agreeing with you?
Go to a stadium and get excited about doing something? Doing what?
They have the schools, the news outlets, and entertainment. We have… Glenn Beck?!?
I don’t even listen to Glenn Beck anymore. I can’t!!!
    What do we do?
Read another book? Subscribe to this, subscribe to that?
I read this story to my wife this morning. She cried.
    What do I do?!?
    Now I’m getting glossy eyed!
I don’t want to be angry, sad, shocked, or any of those things anymore.
    I want to do something.
    But what? What? What????????????????

What kind of person decides they want an aggressive type of dog?
Same kind of person that puts a piranha in the fish tank.
Or have a tarantula for a pet.
The kind of person that buys a Harley and the first thing they want to do is make it louder.
Or get a tattoo on their neck, and multiple body piercings… neat.

Okay, okay you are tough. There, I said it. Now go play Grand Theft Auto, you gangster you.

‘The right of the people to keep and… um keep dogs shall not be infringed…’

    ThinversionFairy-

Be proud of being a queer all you want. But be honest about it.
You like another man’s banana in your tail pipe… and/or your mouth.
It’s not that you like to put your banana there. (you do) But that works with a female too.
So the only thing that makes you a homosexual male is that you like a dirty donk in your mouth.

    XHole,

It’s not too late to get on the right side.

The following is the Apostle Paul telling us a little bit about himself.

1 Timothy 1:12-15 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

    Monkey,

Romans 1:20-21 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Read it carefully. You are without excuse.

You say my sources are untested. Some of them may be, but not all. There are bible believing scientists you know? Hovind isn’t the only creationist out there. There are also scientists who believe in intellegent design. Not necessarily bible believers or even christians, but they believe they have proof of intellegent design.

Some scientific sources are also untested. You don’t actually believe all that global warming nonesense, do you?

    Bruce-

Jesus tells us to love our enemies. That we sometimes fail at this, does not negate the teaching.
No sin is okay, not one. We may differ on what is and isn’t sin. Having said that, you’re right christians are imperfect and sin daily. It is not right, however, to brush it off and have an everybody-does-it attitude.

Savage would be right to point out the hypocrisy of persons.
The Bible is not guily, though, people are.

    @Bruce P.

Here is one of the most taken out of context passages of scripture.
It is the perfect answer to Bruce about whether Christians are expected to kill people for sexual sins.

John 8:1-11 Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Do you want me to watch every video? One of those playlists contains over 80 videos.
Do I have to read every single word contained in the posted links?
It’s not like I have never heard any of the arguments before.
Why does the Bible not have to change?
Shouldn’t there be tons of crazy things in the Bible that can easily be proven false?

Why do scientists keep trying to fabricate a “missing link”?
Shouldn’t there be all kinds of missing links to find?

I did watch some of the videos in the playlist.
Do you realize the first one was claiming a guy named Hovind agrees with evolution?
In other words, he’s right, but that is evolution he’s talking about.
Semantics? Is that the difference between creationism and darwinism? I think not.

  • April 28, 2012 at 12:35am

I suppose you guys really want to have a discussion about it.
My lack of attention to your thoughtful posts must be frustrating.
Let’s face it though. I picked a one side and you picked the other.
You could tell me of some amazing evidence that surely proves evolution.
I could google it and tell you of some amazing evidence that, to me, seems to negate your evidence.
You tell me not to site sources that support my beliefs.
I think how silly that rule is, since you seem to be able to site sources friendly to your views.
These exchanges could continue as long as we were willing to participate.
    I remember a Bible verse…

Proverbs 29:9 If a wise man contendeth with a foolish man, whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest.

  • April 28, 2012 at 12:10am

Psalms 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God…

    I didn’t make it up.

Billions of years ago there was nothing.
Nothing exploded and made the basic matter from which everything evolved.
Monkeys and apes are a little behind.
The missing link is a clay person built around a pigs tooth. (oops I backslid… sorry)

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (don’t start there though…)

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (start there)

Pontiac – You are a good speller

BigAl – You do realize that the scientific community are a bunch of fools, don’t you?
They are very brainy fools, much better educated than I will ever be, but fools none the less.
Even though they are running out of support for the theory of evolution, especially Darwinism, they will continue to hang on to the theory until they have another alternative to God/ creationism. Anything but God and the Bible.

By the way – Piltdown Man – still in the text books? Even though text books, unlike the Bible, change anually. Big hoax, no?

  • April 27, 2012 at 7:43pm

    Piltdown Man… yep, good one.

  • April 27, 2012 at 4:20pm

Detroit – Don’t ever go buy a car without some help.

If you think 5 minutes of consideration is enough to sell evolution to a thinking person, you are a very shallow thinker and ought to have help with any and all important decisions. Have you taken 5 minutes to look into the counter points to what little it took to convice you? You do, in fact, believe in a theory. A Bible believing christian has way more historical, scientific, and experiential evidence to support his beliefs than you could even imagine for yours.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2 Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

The Bible says the Bible is the word of God.
I would be a fool, like you, if I didn’t have faith in the God of the Bible.
You think you’re going to be judged and not found guilty?
All have sinned, and the wages of sin is death. But God commendeth His love for us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. There is no other way to be justified than by faith in Christ.
You go ahead and create your own idea of how all that will transpire though.

  • April 17, 2012 at 12:47am

The bible is not God. It is the word of God.
What does God have to say? How would you know without the Bible?
Unless you are your own god. Or some graven image is your god.
A graven image can inlude the god you created in your mind.
Maybe your god is a bunch of ideas you and your friends believe in.

Some of you people who are so dismissive of the Bible seem to have favorite Bible quotes.

    “He who is without sin…”
    “Judge not…”

Blah blah blah, as if you have any idea what you’re talking about.

Mike could have given up on booze and women.
He could have showered, shaved, and combed his hair.
He could have joined a church and carried a huge Bible.
He could have become the male version of Mother Theresa…

… and still went to a dark, burning, lonely place of torment.

So many people commenting on what they think God would think about Mike or what God would think about what the other guy thinks God thinks about Mike or what God would think about what another guy thinks about what the other guy thinks about what God thinks about Mike.

All that matters is what Mike thought about Jesus Christ.

He became sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.

It’s God’s righteousness, through faith in Jesus Christ, that saves us.

Mike may very well have trusted Christ for salvation at any time in his life. It would not have made him a robot. It would not have turned him into a good person. It would simply have saved him. Any good that he did after that point would simply be him allowing the Holy Spirit to guide his life. Our biggest enemies in this life are the world, the flesh, and the devil. If you live after the flesh you are your own worst enemy. All the truth you need is contained in the Bible.

The point is, I don’t know where Mike will spend eternity and neither do any of you. There is not one piece of evidence in the story or any of the comments that woul
