Heritage Official Resigns Amid Controversy Over Dissertation on Race & IQ
May 11, 2013 at 10:24am
This guy fell into the trap. It is not IQ that separates groups, It is the belief that someone else will take care of you and you don’t need to struggle to get ahead. It does not matter the color of skin of the person. If they have to WORK to get ahead, their ethic produces children who work too.
Heritage Official Resigns Amid Controversy Over Dissertation on Race & IQ
May 11, 2013 at 10:06am
Is it the truth? Once again a person doing research paints a broad brush across an entire group. I am more Cherokee than Mass’. new senator, with an IQ of at least 135, It hasn’t been tested for while. My Hispanic spouse and sons both test above that. I live in an area with a majority of Mexican Hispanics, and the people I associate with have very high to extremely high IQs. They also have excellent work ethics and native intelligence (street smarts). In my experience, demonstrated IQ has more to do with willingness to learn and environment than genetics.
Top-Ranking GOP Rep. Says There Are ‘Clearly More Persons of Interest’ in Boston Bombing

too many on this site failed science. The firefighters KNEW that they were going to explode, They were trying to fight the fire long enough to evacuate as many people as possible. The grain elevator and all grain elevators are hazardous locations where a stray spark can and often does ignite the DUST of the grain and cause explosions.
Surveillance Video Captures Army Officer Being Attacked at Walmart for His Military Service
April 16, 2013 at 6:13pm
Thank you Captain. You demonstrated the Officer’s creed of Officer and Gentleman. Too many times, temper or reaction to a mouthy citizen, gives the service a bad name. You behaved well and were a credit to your uniform and position. An officer is a role model who should lead by example. Well done.
Store’s New Policy Will Charge Customers $5 Fee for Doing Something Practically Everyone Has Done at Some Point
March 26, 2013 at 7:04pm
It is a cover charge but when you buy groceries, the charge is deducted from the total. I don’t expect that I would spend my money there.

Texas Teen Suing School District After She Was Punished for Not Reciting Mexican National Anthem in Class
February 28, 2013 at 7:06pm
Missbex: El Paso is a big city compared to McAllen. The public schools are pretty good. There are three high school to college campuses and more coming. There are a few magnet schools as well. I am not familiar with the curriculum but I doubt that assignments in El Paso schools would include the pledge of allegiance to another country. They study the culture, learn about the food and the native dances etc, though. The also study other cultures as appropriate. Welcome to the Desert South West.
Denver School Principal Backpedals After Sending Out Tutoring Signup for ‘Students of Color’ Only
February 15, 2013 at 11:00am
As a college prof, I have seen FFI, ADD, and just plain sloppy from the entire spectrum of students. It is a product of the school system expecting everyone to achieve their personal Gold Star. Tutoring is a growing side business of a lot of part timers like me ;)
Ted Nugent Responds to ‘Nonsense’ Gun Control Proposals in Obama’s Speech
February 13, 2013 at 9:49am
There is a story by RA Heinlein that has an armed society. If you are armed, you have a responsibility to maintain peaceful behavior because if you can’t, you will be tried for murder. You can duel with proper behavior but if you just shoot someone, you get dead in return, by an impromptu court, immediately. The persons who cannot be armed; children, drunks, peace and love types are sacrosanct. You cannot even touch them. VERY polite society.

Santa Fe is Blue, Albuquerque is purple, (enough to turn NM blue), Austin is blue. DON’T come to TX, NM, CO, or any other freedom loving state unless you leave Californistan behind! YOU are NOT welcome.
