  • What has America come to? What are we to teach our children when speaking the truth is reason enough to vilify a candidate into political defeat?

  • It’s amazing the apathy of the left when it comes to the protection on human life. Does it strike you as almost disturbing that many liberals oppose the death penalty for murderers but support the same death penalty being imposed on unborn and in this case born alive children?

What do you think would happen to me if I posted a video on YouTube of myself destroying bald eagle eggs? Would they say the eggs are just a bunch of cells and mean nothing or would they picket my house and try to get me fired from my job?

We live in an increasingly twisted reality and we will reap the seeds we have sown for generations.

  • If Prohibition created an underground black market for alcohol and banning drugs created the drug war with gangs and the drug cartels, what would banning guns do? I think it’s a no brainer.

The only solutions politics has to societal problems is to create more laws and restrict freedoms. For decades we have coddled our children and failed to draw clear lines between right and wrong. We have adopted the mantra of a perverse generation which says, “if it feels good then do it”. In the name of equality we have sent mothers out of our homes and left child rearing to the TV and the internet.

The problem we are facing in America is bigger than gun control. It’s a problem of societal decay and as long as we continue on this treacherous path, we will inevitably reap the whirlwind of the pain and anguish we all felt on Friday.

  • Don’t you find it hypocritical that those who have told us for decades that drugs should be legalized to prevent the underground drug trafficking are the same folks who are saying we should ban certain guns or make it impossible for law abiding citizens to obtain them legally.

If banning drugs created a black market for illegal drug trafficking and prohibition created an underground black market for alcohol, why do so many dumb people think banning guns will generate a different result?

“Mitt Romney ran for President and not once proposed a single cut he was willing to make to spending, unless you count PBS or Planned Parenthood (which might be 0.1% of government spending). ”

Democrats have made it impossible to win any election by telling the “whole” truth. It is impossible to beat Santa Claus in an election if you believe people have to start giving back their gifts. Remember what they did to Paul Ryan when he talked about changes to Medicare? They created an ad with a look-alike throwing Grandma off a cliff.

Look at the reaction to Mitt Romney’s plan to cut funding to PBS? They made an ad out of it to ridicule him. If they won’t cut PBS what would they cut? If Romney had named one specific cut, they would have gone and found 5 people to put on TV who would say how devastating those cuts would be to their family.

I am not American, but I can see the bottom line. America has tipped over and I don’t think republicans will ever win the presidency again. The only problem is that you have tipped over to the side of the failed policies that have caused great empires of the past to disintegrate with nothing to show for it.

  • I think the nurse’s death is tragic but for a whole different reason. I think it’s tragic that the world has gotten to a point that people think suicide is the best way to deal with teasing, bullying, public humiliation, you name it.

What are we teaching our children about how to deal with adversity? Where are the days when we used to say “when the going gets tough …” Today, we seem to be saying, “when the going gets tough, it’s someone else’s fault and I can make myself a martyr by taking my own life.”

    This is really tragic.
