Until Conservatives have someone with a reasonable and informed voice the GOP is dead. Sarah Palin is dangerous in the sense that people brand all conservatives based on her dull wit and lack of world knowledge. She’s a hater who believes she’s the next coming. Face it, asking which magazines she reads is not a gotcha question. Knowing the duties and function of the V.P. is mandatory. Fox must be out of their minds.

How she remains in the spotlight defies logic. Half term, half wit.

They all speak of smaller government but Under Reagan and Bush Government never got smaller. It got bigger. So they’ll protect the Koch brothers and the Casino Billionairre and let the middle class suffer.
Apparently someone said " send in the Trolls ." No mention of Soros ? The guy who funds all of the Left radical Media machine ?!

One buck deer can mate with dozens of females every year. The biggest, strongest and most dominant bucks get the harem so to speak. The antlers are dropped every year and grow back covered in blood rich velvet which eventually sheds and leaves the hard antler. Buck deer have been known to attack humans while in the rut. Nice story.

Harry is a former Golden Gloves Champion ….I wonder how hard he would have to hit Boehner to make him cry?

The NRA will hold a press conference on Friday. Interesting to see what they say. I have no problem with the right to bear arms. But a fully automatic rifle with extended clips is designed for one thing only…to kill a lot of people quickly. How banning these guns would infringe on the right to bear arms is beyond me. Both parties are now re-thinking these crazy weapons.
Bluenoser - this is an easy one to answer.... first, automatic weapons are already illegal, so that makes this a moot point. Second, the right to bear arms in our Constitution is there as a check against a tyrannical government... not so we can hunt or sport shoot or hit targets.
None of these recent mass shootings included the use of "fully automatic rifles". While you can purchase an automatic rifle, they come at extraordinary premiums and involve a lengthy paperwork process. They are not the problem.
A big part of the problem, though, are criminal protection zones. These shooters--many seeking fame through body count--always go to places where they know they will not meet armed resistance. They know they'll be able to do the most damage there. It is time to get rid of these zones. Every business/organization/institution in America should rethink it if they have no-gun signs posted. All these signs do is announce dinner to the wolves.

I have always failed to grasp how someones sexuality makes them less of a person. The Mormon Church came out this week and said that sexuality is not a choice. I agree. Ellen is a real, caring human being. Class act.
If someone is gay and happy, how does that affect my happiness?

His racist past would have never landed him in the white house regardless of whether he did get through the Primary process. Part of Liberty is choice and the American people chose a president. Time to figure out how to work together to make a better America.
We hear a lot about Liberty. But isn’t liberty about choice and the right to chose? The declaration of Independence says the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness is a unalienable right? So why is it that the GOP decides that Gays should not have those same rights? How does that impact their happiness. I never got that.

The Primary process killed Romney and the GOP. Every single opponent called him a liar through the process. Then had to stand behind him. None of that can overshadow the fact that in the last 40 years when the GOP was in power there was no reduced spending and no reduction to the deficit.

West, if you listen closely comes across as wildly erratic and conspiratorial. His electorate voted him out for their own reasons. Take the re-count and if you lose move on because that is what the system is designed to do, represent the people within your constituency. Not everyone is in favor of Tea party values and uncompromising ideals.

He may win the re-count but in light of Rick Scott’s efforts to restrict voting he may want to look at the GOP. Those line-ups were a world wide embarrassment.

Look, Romney lost in his home state Michigan. He lost in Mass where he was Gov. Ryan lost his home state. The candidates lost the GOP ticket. 47% was dumb…. it included Military vets and people who worked their whole life to get Social Security. Not paying taxes for years had to come back to haunt Romney. Sending jobs to China hurt him. The Bail-out stance hurt. The Jeep ad hurt. The change on every issue flip flopping. Akin, Mourdock, Walsh…hurt. The tea Party hurt. Donald Trump and Birthers hurt. It’s not all about Obama. he is seen as the lesser of two evils.
If Romney is seen as the lesser of two evils, then America is officially Godless.
Wow Blue - some sanity and truth on this site - I cant believe it!

It’s entirely reasonable to blame Bush. He left things in a mess. The two wars were so costly. The months before he left office we were bleeding 800,000 jobs per month. That’s tough to stop. What pisses me off is the fact that Romney is the best candidate available. His tax issues, his 47% . His etch a sketch change of opinion on everything.
November 1, 2012 at 2:27pm
It could be that he gave people more opportunity to mock him. He’s changed his stance on everything he’s given an opinion on. The softest GOP candidate in history.
October 26, 2012 at 1:37pm
Why is this even a story. Gingrich called him a liar. More than once. Gulliano called him a liar. Perry called him a liar. Santorum Called him a liar. Paul called him a serial flip flopper. Huckabee called him a liar.

The worst comb over in history has finally jumped the shark. You could describe him as a joke but that falls so far short of reality. When will the media learn to ignore this bloviating ignoramus. He sets the conservative cause back every time he speaks.

The Salt Lake Tribune endorsed Obama today in the heart of Mormon Country… maybe Trump shared his surprise with them……

I’d say Obama flew in from Kenya at two years old, climbed the grassy knoll and took shots at president Kennedy. The bad comb over found a dirty diaper with DNA – it was petrified.
