  You have no idea what you are talking about. If a paid tax preparer makes a mistake on your tax return it is YOUR responsibility. You are responsible for any taxes, penalties & interest.

  H&R Block doesn’t even pay your taxes, but they will pay penalties & interest if it is their fault.

  The insurance you speak of is errors & omissions insurance, or professional liability.

  Maybe you should enroll in the H&R Block or Jackson Hewitt tax course this year.
