  • You beat me to the punch Rangerskippy! Before I even started to read the article I noticed the grip that guy was using. Not very smart of him.

  • I have a 2000 Honda Accord that I’d be willing to sell for 1700 Scooby Snacks………anyone? No?

  • Are Gun Companies Really Moving to Texas?

awww, come on. CT isn’t that bad…….remember, we have the oldest amusement park in the country AND the Gov. is building us a brand new busway from New Britain to Hartford! Now all we need is a busway from New Britain to Lake Compounce and we’re set! Isn’t communism great! (comment dripping with sarcasm)

  • I hope I never do have to use my 9mm Beretta INSIDE my house! I fired 3 shots OUTSIDE one time without hearing protection and my ears have still not stopped ringing! I can only imagine what it would sound like with the sound bouncing off the walls of my hallway or something. Maybe someone could chime in that has had to fire on someone inside their house and let us know what it’s like. I don’t know if a lot of shooters are considering what the sound of a round going off a couple feet (or closer) to your ear sounds like and your ability to continue shooting accurately after that first shot. I’m sure it’s not like it is in the movies. Most of us have those big earmuffs on shooting at a paper target that is not moving or shooting back at you. Hardly a real world situation where you get up at 3am to the sound of someone breaking into your house. You stumble out of bed, wipe the crust out of your eyes, fumble around for your weapon, (hopefully you have a flashlight or can see well in the dark), find the guy, aim correctly, squeeze off the first round….and after the shock to your system as to how loud that first round was, be able to fire a second round accurately. With any luck the guy will jump out a window after realizing he’s being shot at! Then, go and get that big bottle of Advil to take care of the headache. This post was WAY longer than I intended it to be!

  • I appologize if I misread your post but they are not outlawed in CT. They cannot have an adjustable stock, bayonet lug, or a flash hider. But you can own a state compilant AR in CT.

  • WOW. I have been wrestling with this as well the last few days and to see this article really amazes me. I really needed to hear this as I can spend lots of time looking at different guns on the internet and the amount of money I have wasted on buying and selling guns just so I could try them out is shamefull. This is my heart check. Thank you God for helping me see what I need to change in my life.

  • Don’t worry, we won’t be allowed to own one anyway. It probably holds 7 maybe 8 rounds. Us civilians can’t be trusted with such firepower. Get a Sig Scorpion 1911. It looks pretty much the same to me.

  • Folks…this is very simple. There are two different sets of beliefs.Athiests think there is no God,no Satan, no Heaven, and no Hell. So when they die, there is nothing. So they are safe.(according to them) Now, true Christians believe the opposite. So Heaven is waiting them after they die. So it comes down to which is true. If the Athiest veiw is true, we are all safe (because there is nothing). There is no punishment for NOT being an Athiest. BUT, if the Christian view is true, the Athiests are screwed…because there IS punishment for being a non believer. True Christians are safe either way. So why do I keep saying “true” Christians? I’m glad you asked. Just because you CALL yourself a Christian, does not mean you are one. You can’t just show up at church once a week or once in a while and expect God to just open the gates wide for you. Follow and obey Jesus and you’ll see your reward.

  • Jeez…it isn’t even a good lookin’ dog…..Get a poodle or a collie or something. I’m sorry ,Lord. That was wrong. My brain/hand filter is not working this morning.
