  • The headline is misleading. The gun does not get the target’s DNA. It only puts the DNA that is in the pellet on the target. It’s just a way to tag someone. They’d still have to find the person the old fashioned way to arrest them. But once arrested, they could use the DNA tag to confirm without a doubt that they were the target that the LEO was aiming at.

    Incidentally, I really enjoy following FateOfDestinee’s YouTube Channel. Often educational and always entertaining.
