Meh. After Trayvon Martin, any story involving an “unarmed victim” being shot “for no reason” is dubious at best. I’ll wait a few weeks, when the politically inconvenient details emerge, to form an opinion.

“It (the rocket launch), in fact, happened somewhere close by because the noise right here at the hospital area was really loud. Indeed, these rockets launched here from the Gazan side (of the border) are headed into Israel.”
“…this one sentence was taken out of context…” Sweetheart, I don’t think that means what you think it means. Your report concisely states the following:
1. These are Hamas fighters (terrorists)
2. They are at X location.
3. They are firing rockets.
4. Those rockets are headed into Israel.
Nothing about what you said was taken out of context. Others may have expanded and drawn conclusions that you either couldn’t or wouldn’t, that Hamas is demonstrably using human shields, but no one twisted your words to make them mean something different.

Wow. Bystanders notice something bad and take action, not really action but calling the authorities is better than ducking ones head and pretending not to notice, a mistake is made and the .gov decides to pay for damages without being sued. All around a pretty happy story.

You’re right. It was creepy and offensive. But what the kid did was harassment, not child pornography. Honestly, if he’d streaked a ball game he would’ve show a lot more people what he’s packin. I’ve done dumber things than this, at an older age, trying to get a girls attention.
I’m not excusing or justifying his behavior, but charging him with child porn and trying to stick him on the sex offender registry is outrageous.

They said she was 15 at the time. I couldn’t find how long ago “at the time” was but I’m assuming it was at least a year so he was probably only 16 and maybe even 15 himself “at the time”.

I see what you did there.

Way too many questions to form an opinion on this one. A handful of screen grabs doesn’t tell much of a story.
Where’s this supposed “choke hold”? The pictures don’t show anything like that.
Why is she half nekkid?
Why is the cop, apparently, struggling to put her on the ground? He’s got her back, her hips, and at least one of her arms. It wouldn’t take a great deal of grappling know-how to put someone smaller and presumably weaker than you on the ground from there. Did he not receive grappling and take-down training in the academy? Does he not regularly have use-of-force training? Is it poor training or is he negligent in his instruction?
Where’s the grill in question that’s supposedly blocking the sidewalk? Looks to me like they’re struggling a few feet inside the fence in a yard. Is that where the grill is or is the grill on the sidewalk itself?
Why didn’t the cop call for a female officer? The last thing any male cop wants to touch is a female in any state of undress. That’s a guaranteed sexual harassment/assault allegation.

I’ve thought the same thing. Subject lies flat on a table, one needle in their neck, the get sleepy and/or light headed, and they fall asleep. A few more minutes and their blood oxygen level falls too low to sustain brain function, brain stops controlling major organs (heart) and they die.
Aside from the initial needle puncture and getting a little chilly before they pass out, it would be utterly painless.

From the pic on the homepage, I thought someone found some enormous toad next to their baby’s crib. Looking at it now, it must be a bag or backpack. I’m an idiot…

No I’m not crying! I’ve got allergies. And I was just cutting onions. I’m allergic to onions. Now leave me alone.

“… pistols are defined by their built-in barrel…”
“…and short stock.”
You mean lack of stock?
Those are just two that stood out to me. Every entry has poorly worded descriptions and obvious statements that suggest that the author simply didn’t know a thing about fire arms and simply blurted out nonsense that sounded technical to them.

I feel like if I was driving around with 20-to-life in the back of my truck, then I would observe and obey every applicable traffic law. At the very least, I would obey the obvious ones. You know, like the ones with big red lights attached to them… Seriously, how stupid do you have to be?

I think one thing that’s being overlooked about her behavior is the fact that this was in Ohio. We Ohioans have very large personal space bubbles. Conversation distance is up to and including five feet. Standing in line for fast food, I can’t touch the person in front of me. She was that close on purpose, she was putting her hand in his face on purpose. She wasn’t standing that close to make sure he could hear her. She was knowingly and intentionally threatening and disrespectful, and picked the smallest person there to act like a hard ass to. Not only does she gleefully murder babies, she’s a coward and a bully to boot.
If he knocked her ass out, would he be in the right? I always believed that hitting women was totally wrong, but DAAAAYAM. I wouldn't hit her, just asking.

That’s rather humane of you. I was thinking more 1 in the kidney or liver… let him think about it for a while.

That’s just his rent. From the looks of the “house” in the video up there is tiny (800 sqft according to the anchor), beat up and in a rural area. $34K a year in rent for an 800 sqft house? And the state’s paying for it? That’s fishy.

This. 1000 times this. Shooting a vicious dog won’t do a thing to the handler who unleashed him on you. Jail or even just fire (unseat? disbar? Idk) a judge for signing a bad warrant and this crap will stop overnight.

Does it reflect poorly on me that my first thought, upon reading that it’s natural sea water, was to put a whole bunch of dangerous fish in there just to cause a stir?

This is one of the worst shooting stances I’ve ever seen. Hips aren’t facing the target, butt’s not squarely on the deltoid (it looks like it’s on his bicep), he lowers his eyes to his sights (notice his head bowed downward) instead of raising his sights to his eyes. Legs and back are mostly straight, he’s not looking balanced, sturdy, or agile.
About the only thing he did right was fire the right direction.

Michelle Horovitz: “…we’re not going to patronize you if you don’t change your policy.”
Bar Louie Management: “Ok”
Honestly, Bar Louie probably isn’t terribly concerned that some people don’t like their dress code. There was probably one bad weekend/week, probably following a “music” concert, when a large group of similarly clad individuals caused problems and management decided those people weren’t worth the trouble. BL is a classy, i.e. expensive, drinking establishment. People who fit that description probably don’t frequent them, and people who do frequent them probably don’t fit that description. I doubt either group is concerned with BL dress code. The only people who seem to care are self righteous, faux outrage, race card abusing, politically correct libs.
