  • Has anyone found any study that made any determination that the previous ‘assault’ weapons ban had any effect on crime/

If the previous ban had no effect, why would we want to do the same thing to accomplish nothing (crime prevention0 again?

Some say that one sign of insanity is to keep doing the same over and over again without having any results.

  • Nevermind: And just what do we do when due to poor monetary planning, the police forces are reduced (which is happening in many places in the country, and oh btw the police have no obligation to protect you) and a gang of 20 to 30 come roaming down the street. Are you going to use your 6-shooter to defend yourself?

  • In China with total gun control, many children were knifed: http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/headlines/2012/12/22-kids-slashed-in-china-elementary-school-knife-attack/

First why isn’t this making media attention (I all ready know the answer).

When are we going to discuss how we bring up our children which are the future of society. Obviously we’ve been doing something wrong!

Oh and BTW by the end of the day, another 3200 babies will have been murdered by abortion.

  • There have been two yes Two shooting in Aurora, Colorado in the past 3 months! You probably didn’t know that because the media likes to only publish stories that push the liberal agenda. What about this other shooting that hardly andbody has heard about?

On April 22, 2012 a convicted felon crashed in his car in a church parking lot and when a women came up to help, she was shot dead. The suspect started shooting at everyone. Luckly one of the congregants had a weopon and shot the shooter dead.

See here for the tale of two shootings: http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/crime/item/12175-two-aurora-shootings-one-widely-known-the-other-ignored

  • Un announced distractions should be part of a drivers test because they will and do happen in real life (you can’t legislate distractions away)

I’m a pilot, and flying an airplane requires a lot of vigilance during the departure and arrival phases (ie takeoffs and landings), and much less so en route (unless flying through weather). When you take your practical pilots tests (ie flying with the eaminier at your side), he will purposely cause distractions (most likely in the landing phase). These include dropping things on the floor, asking you to get something etc. While flying in controlled airspace (which means almost anywhere that isn’t rural), you need to be able to operate an aircraft 2-way radio including changing channels, tuning navigation radios, referencing at both charts (maps) and plates (detailed arrival/ departure instructions). respond to immediate requests by ground controllers, process amended flight plans (means they decide to change your flight path) and verifying that they are correct, monitor all aspects of the aircraft both flight instruments, exterior weather, and engine performance, manage fuel and fly the aircraft per plan (which means following navigational radios, maintaining a heading (like on a boat) and maintaining an alttude within a hundred feet or so.

And now the government wants to tell me that I can’t use a cell phone in my car? Does this make any sense????????

  • The first amendment states in part “AND to petition the goverment for a redress of grievances”

and Miller v. U.S., 230 F, 2d 286, 489. “The claim and exercise of a Constitutional Right cannot be converted into a crime.”

and 2 -Johnson v. Zerbst, 304 U.S., 458, 468. “ If the Bill of Rights is not complied with, the court no longer has jurisdiction to proceed. The judgment… pronounced by a court without jurisdiction is void…”.

Cooper v. Aaron, 358 U.S. 1, 78 S. Ct. 1401 (1958), “No state legislator or executive or judicial officer can war against the Constitution without violating his undertaking to support it”.

Need any more proof? This is what is called fraud on the court (by the judge(s))

  • Notice he said they don’t have the ability to spy on US citizens, but it’s an known but untold story they cooperate with other countries and that some of these do in fact spy back on our citizens (ie UK) and then the information is shared. This has been going for years.

  • Ok this is how the the constitution and bill of rights work. All your rights are protected to the extent that you don’t hurt someone. With Rights, come resposibilities. Express them as you wish but you are responsible for the consequence of using that right. Yell fire at the theatre, and people get hurt, then you have some answering to do. Hurting someone with a cart (I guess could be interpreted as free speech), however you are responsible for what happens. Period. It’s quite simple.
