  Short answer…NO…Barack Obama is not a christian. Christians believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin; died and rose again to ascend into heaven. As such Christians believe Christ is Lord and Savior and the only path to salvation….it is what distinguishes Christianity from all other religions. Barack Obama believes in Black Liberation Theology and the notion that there are “many paths to heaven”…he believes that his salvation is dependent on the collective. This is a false Christianity.   The pastor is a disgrace. I do not think much more can be said for the members who left the church. No doubt every last one of them including the pastor supported Obama in 2008. There, they all were willing to compromise on their faith in order to see the black guy in the WH. This notwithstanding the black guy’s stance on abortion, partial birth abortion and infanticide. Now they get indignant over gay marriage?

  This man is not to be honored or praised for this decision. He, like practically all black pastors, compromised their faith in order to see the black guy become president. Where was this outraged pastor when Obama was out there fighting for abortion, partial birth abortion, infanticide and the many, many other anti-Christian positions taken by Obama and his administration? That’s right, he was in the pew telling his folks to go vote for Obama. And now we are to honor this man who all of a sudden found a scintilla of his faith and decided that gay marriage was the final straw. One word….. hypocrite.

  With all due respect, before you go praising this pastor, remember he has only come out now over gay marriage.Where was he when Obama was out supporting abortion, partial birth abortion and infanticide. The pastor is like all other black pastors, he is complicit in his faith because he wanted to see the black guy become president more than honoring his faith’s principles. One word… hypocrite.
