They simply covered a sign that was already up...This is about someone in the community that doesn't support our Troops....THAT IS THE STORY...
Agreed. It is a non-story. What it will end up doing is promoting debates that are apart FROM the story. . . . . . . and it wouldn't have BEEN a story if the church had applied for the proper permits.
IndyGuy, I would think that any NEW display would require a new permit. At least, that's the way the story seems to suggest.
Need more info on laws related to covering up old signs with new ones.
That said, I do take some issue with them using the "Support our Troops" logo in order to promote the church. Even as a Christian myself, I believe the focus of the sign should be the troops and the troops alone. If they wanted to include some Christian imagery on the sign, fine, but I hate the fact that they are using the troops to promote themselves.
So let me get this straight- the city encats a "ride with respect" program and the local thugs don't comply.
Hmmm- where have we seen this before- I know I've seen this show before....
These are the types of people that we are suppose to accept and welcome into our lives, right? If we choose to object to this type of behavior, we are racist, huh? These obama voters would sing koom by yah if the messiah was giving another long winded lie laden speech, but add the falcons and cowboys and all "black unity" goes out the window.
Obama is such an inspiration, huh, natfarrkhan?
I quit caring as much about sports when I began to see how little freedom we really had. Padded gladiator games to keep the masses distracted and quiet.
The whole story, especially the background noise make me proud to be human and civilized.
It's rare that you can find an Atlanta Falcons fan passionate enough about their perpetually mediocre team to defend the team's sacred honor with clenched fists. Surprising. Impressive. It makes you wonder what heights the Falcons could attain if only they had the fire in their bellies that this fan of theirs does?
Strange cow worship ends in tragedy...
I saw a 30 something fellow I know in church the other day. He was sporting a cast on his leg and had this little scooter looking gadget to lay it on so he could scoot himself around.
I inquired the problem... A football injury, oh my. On the last play of the recent Alabama/Auburn game he flings himself out of the chair so forcefully that he rips his Achilles tendon in twain. That means two parts.
The worst of it is that he is an Auburn fan.
That took place on MARTA, Atlanta's rapid transit system. Stands for "Moving Africans Rapidly Through Atlanta".
Proof of the superior intellect of the average American.
We have a black problem in America. It's real, but the idea police on this site hide that truth. Half-truths live here.
All aboard...The savage express....
Was that Sharkeshia's Brother? Lol

All in favor for cyclists paying extra taxes for that little bike lane. If they don’t want to pay, hit the sidewalk. Shouldn’t be in the road with 2 ton vehicles anyway. With their little spandex and alien helmets.

Lol....no doubt he's the live in boyfriend hahahaha. And the granny suddenly disappears, very sad.
"For the record, the new guy who "appears" is my sister's husband, a Nashville singer/songwriter:"

My thoughts exactly. No doubt everything these two ever want-ed is granted.
At 25-26 years old she could easily be married and apparently is according to IndyArmyVet.
People still do that sometimes. I was married at 19 and didn’t even have to! Didn’t have kids till a few years later...I know...bizarro world huh?
The thing I found interesting is the dad was able to continue the tradition well in to early adult years. Nothing says those kids hadn’t moved out and just came back to visit every year and stayed in their old childhood bedroom. The kids were good sports to continue doing what dad wanted every Christmas morning.
Wonder what happened in 2010?

Even if she gets caught some liberal judge will give her one year probation. Take justice into your own hands.

That’s the reason I couldn’t find any Balsam Trees this season.

And people make fun when I don’t let my kid go on school field trips. Sorry, I don’t trust these clowns!

None of the children practiced the song in front of the family before the concert? How come everyone was so surprised?
This happened to me. My kids were in the choir and we went to the performance and we didn't even get this level of music. We got canned music that sounded like crap. No carols--the word "Christmas" was not part of the program--forget mentioning Christ Himself. Santa was not mentioned. Instead we got this song about "the reason for the season is to give." While there is some truth to that, the reason we give is because Christ first gave to us. Instead the entire song was a shake down & a guilt trip all rolled into one--if you aren't giving and giving then you are bad & selfish. Those weren't the exact words, but that's the gist. Hanukkah got a song that told the entire story of the holiday. Kwanzaa, same thing. Christmas was represented with a song devoid of anything related to the holiday, period.
I was stunned. The looks on parents' faces was something to see. People complained. The next year we got "a musical tour of the world," & again Hanukkah and Kwanzaa were told in exacting detail. The song that represented Christmas? A song from Mexico that talked about a baby & his parents who couldn't find a place to stay. I was fine with the idea except the song they chose made it sound like it was some anonymous homeless family wandering around.
If you can't bring yourself to sing the word "Christmas" or "Christ" then just do "Jingle Bells" for Pete's sake. Otherwise cancel the concert. You're ruining the holiday & wasting our time.

Duke will beat FSU. Sorry to break the bad news to everyone. They won’t even make the national championship.
