So it’s not good enough for a woman to have the “right” to kill their own child…stomping on that child’s right to live (50 percent of those children are girls). Now there needs to be a “right” for a woman to force her employer to pay for her abortifacients thereby stomping all over her employer’s right to religious freedom.

    THIRD PARTY.

  • [1] June 22, 2014 at 10:37am

louise, these bad priests AND the bishops, archbishops, cardinals, etc who protected them will have to answer before God. Their actions were mortal sins as well. There are a lot of priests, bishops, etc. in hell…their title does not guarantee salvation.

  • [3] June 22, 2014 at 10:28am

Obviously, this Pope was around for that and should be drawn and quartered, just sayin’

  • [5] June 22, 2014 at 10:26am

Wow. Can you provide examples of those things?

  • [21] June 22, 2014 at 10:24am

Of course, torture is a mortal sin. Does anyone here really believe that torturing another human being is what God wants us to do? “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you”
I am amazed that people would even disagree with this! Another thing, what do bad priests have to do with anything the Pope says? If what the Pope says is correct, why bring up bad priests who commit crimes? Pope Francis had nothing to do with these priests! Keep in mind Jesus picked Judas as an Apostle, and that didn’t work out very well. Should we ignore what Jesus taught because of Judas?
I am also not saying EVERYTHING the Pope say is correct, but bringing up bad priests as an attempt to discredit a statement by the Pope is just stupid.

I agree with them. The mainstream media is scum. I stopped watching that crap long ago. Too bad the MSM never goes out of its way (like they seem to do for the anarchists) to interview a pro-life marcher. In fact, they do their best to avoid reporting on that type of march. 2000 person anti-gun rally? Front-page! Half-million pro-life march? Never happened. Yep, I do agree, “You guys are scum.”

I left a comment on that rags’ website and they didn’t allow me to post. Too many negatives comments I guess.

Maybe the “scientists” pushing global warming should take his advice…

What is the difference Bill? Well for one…it would mean Obama knowingly lied.

Apollyon, you keep name calling instead of address any issue that is brought up.
Is this because you are refusing to critically think?

First state what these so-called “dishonest, lying comments” are?
What “false claims about what (your) position” have I made?
And if you “don’t have faith in science” then where is your “MOUNTAINS of evidence to support” evolution?
Where is ANY OBSERVABLE EVIDENCE to support this THEORY that you believe?
Finally, if there is no God, please explain how any action you take or decision you make IS NOT how I described above?

    Waiting……

  • October 28, 2013 at 3:39am

Apollyon, funny….I believe I quoted you word for word and responded to it. Claiming that you did not say it? People only have to read your original post to see who is being dishonest here.

As for sorting fact and fiction…where is your evidence?
You accept more things on faith to believe the THEORY of evolution, than I do in knowing God is there.

And this statement: “The average American 10 year old understand more about how the world works than the wisest man in their age.”

Really? Ask a 10-year-old how the Egyptian pyramids were built.
Those idiot Egyptians seem to muddle through that somehow.

And what is a “rich, happy, meaningful, full” life to an atheist?

In a Godless world, there is no soul because the soul is a supernatural thing.

Therefore, no God equals no soul, no free will, no purpose. Your decisions are nothing but electrical impulses. Your entire life was pre-determined the moment the “big bang” occurred.

And you are going to die. So even if you were the most successful and famous atheist that ever lived, you will be a pile of dirt in 100 years. That is the final destination of your “meaningful” life.

So if I’m wrong and your are right. We both end up as piles of dirt. I’m very happy believing in my Creator. In fact, He makes my life more rich, more happy, and more meaningful. If you have a problem with that, oh well…

However, if I’m right and your wrong. Well, you will have a bit of explaining to do.

Apollyon, your post is misguided. First, you assume Christianity is anti-science. I, however, believe you and the “growing number of (so-called) intelligent and enlightened” people are the real ones who are anti-science. Scientists, who are intellectually honest, do leave open the possibility of God. How can they not? If I may equate “Beck fans” with Tea Party members, then it is not the “Beck fans” who need to “get educated.” It seems that they understand science better than most:

    http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/10/17/yale-prof-s-honest-reaction-to-finding-tea-party-members-score-well-on-science-comprehension/

In your Godless world, try to keep this in mind. If there is no God, there is absolutely no point to life. You are here on this earth as a matter of random chance. You also have no free will. All your actions are due to electron and protons randomly interacting with each other….since in your world, the human soul doesn’t exist.
In your Godless world, you are nothing but a robot whose every action is already pre-determined…and then you die. That my friend is atheism. An entirely pointless existence.
No wonder suicides are up. If there “are a growing number of (so-called) intelligent and enlightened” people who believe this nonsense, what else would you expect?
So please excuse me if I decide to cling to my religion and my guns. At least my life and existence has a reason. No hard feelings though. I wish you well in the rest of your meaning

    According to Google’s urban dictionary…
Cracka: A term used to insult white people. Has become more popular recently as the opposite of n****r.

I guess they forgot to add, “someone who acts like they are police or a security guard.” LOL

    Hey Grover,
If a fetus isn’t a “person” then what is it?
You can lie to yourself all you want, that fetus is a human being.
And you “don’t care if a person feels pain” as long as it doesn’t “feel it for long”?
Wow, are you a Hitler wannabe?
I’m pretty sure Hitler didn’t care if the Jews felt pain, either.
Civilization will look back on this period with shame. You and the rest of your liberal friends are on the wrong side of history…count on it ;)

  • May 26, 2013 at 11:41pm

    @Locked

    You are misinformed.
Members of the IRA were all excommunicated from the Catholic Church for their actions.
That includes any clergy that may have been involved.
    Look it up.

  • November 1, 2012 at 9:44am

If that was a barber shop full of white guys saying that Obama has to “turn white” or “drop out of the race”, what do you think the media would say? Why is it that there is so much emphasis on white racism but black racism get a pass?

@Gourdy Catholics that believe it is alright to kill a baby even though that child was conceived in rape should all be “former catholics.” A life is a life. You cannot claim life begins at conception except when that conception occured during a rape.

According to Wikipedia, Andrew Sullivan “describes himself as a political conservative.” LOL! This guy is more liberal than Obama…
