@Verycobaltviolet Just a FYI, ISIS might actually have nukes (chemical weapons, etc) or be close to getting them, and all they would have to do is walk them across the southern border and plant them in a major city. Care to re-think your original statement yet?

I call BS. She kept the money. Guaranteed. Typical liberal, lie and the mindless drones will believe you without question…

You know what MEC, I don’t know what I would do if I had to share my country with a group like Hezbollah. And I know you can’t just boot them out. That must really suck. My point is that you can’t just throw all the blame on Israel. The likes of people in groups like Hezbollah are the same people who are the ones killing Christians. It just seems that you can’t reason with people like that! Christian are being killed because they face a choice: convert or die. What an unreasonable choice from unreasonable people. Imagine if Hamas decided it was time to stop fighting Israel. All that money being used right now to buy weapons on both sides could be used to rebuilding a nation of Palestine. Jews and Palestinians could live side by side in peace…but wait! We are dealing with Hamas and we know that will never happen. Convert or die! Push Israel into the sea! Unreasonable positions from people cut from the same cloth. If Israel didn’t exist, there is no doubt in my mind that Jews would be being slaughtered along side Christians (Jews who aren’t in the state of Israel are in fact being slaughtered). Lebanon used to be a majority Christian country (84% in 1926), what happened?

Before Hezbollah, you harboured the PLO! What is the difference between Hezbollah attacking Israel or the PLO attacking? If you poke a hornets nest you are going to get stung. And, honestly, all you are doing is making excuses for being anti-semetic. Stop attacking Israel. Stop harbouring terrorists who attack Israel. Let go of the irrational hate that you have for Israel. Then maybe there can be peace with Israel. Otherwise, this will never end. And sorry, but it will be Lebanon that loses this fight…true story.

  • September 11, 2014 at 5:18pm

So MiddleEasternChristian, if Hezbollah didn’t operate out of Lebanon, do you think Israel would be occupying portions of Lebanon? I am a Catholic from Canada, so I am not all rah rah Israel. However, this nonsense has to stop. I also know that Christians in Lebanon don’t fire the rockets, but Hezbollah does. Your fight should be against Hezbollah. Boot them out and maybe Israel doesn’t have any justification for occupying parts of Lebanon. This is on you! If Hezbollah did not operate in Lebanon, Israel would not have to occupy it.

I don’t agree with everything the government of Israel does. However, I do think that if you fire rockets into their territory, then you better expect a military response back. If you want to get along with Israel, then stop attacking them!

The Jews are Christians’ elder brothers. Jesus was a Jew.
    Live beside Israel?
I think it would be just fine if people didn’t fire missiles into their territory every second minute.
If you guys stopped attacking Israel, then they would stop needing to defend themselves!
It is really that simple. You leave Israel alone and they will leave you alone…

So it’s not good enough for a woman to have the “right” to kill their own child…stomping on that child’s right to live (50 percent of those children are girls). Now there needs to be a “right” for a woman to force her employer to pay for her abortifacients thereby stomping all over her employer’s right to religious freedom.

    THIRD PARTY.

  • [1] June 22, 2014 at 10:37am

louise, these bad priests AND the bishops, archbishops, cardinals, etc who protected them will have to answer before God. Their actions were mortal sins as well. There are a lot of priests, bishops, etc. in hell…their title does not guarantee salvation.

  • [3] June 22, 2014 at 10:28am

Obviously, this Pope was around for that and should be drawn and quartered, just sayin’

  • [5] June 22, 2014 at 10:26am

Wow. Can you provide examples of those things?

  • [21] June 22, 2014 at 10:24am

Of course, torture is a mortal sin. Does anyone here really believe that torturing another human being is what God wants us to do? “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you”
I am amazed that people would even disagree with this! Another thing, what do bad priests have to do with anything the Pope says? If what the Pope says is correct, why bring up bad priests who commit crimes? Pope Francis had nothing to do with these priests! Keep in mind Jesus picked Judas as an Apostle, and that didn’t work out very well. Should we ignore what Jesus taught because of Judas?
I am also not saying EVERYTHING the Pope say is correct, but bringing up bad priests as an attempt to discredit a statement by the Pope is just stupid.

I agree with them. The mainstream media is scum. I stopped watching that crap long ago. Too bad the MSM never goes out of its way (like they seem to do for the anarchists) to interview a pro-life marcher. In fact, they do their best to avoid reporting on that type of march. 2000 person anti-gun rally? Front-page! Half-million pro-life march? Never happened. Yep, I do agree, “You guys are scum.”

I left a comment on that rags’ website and they didn’t allow me to post. Too many negatives comments I guess.

Maybe the “scientists” pushing global warming should take his advice…

What is the difference Bill? Well for one…it would mean Obama knowingly lied.

Apollyon, you keep name calling instead of address any issue that is brought up.
Is this because you are refusing to critically think?

First state what these so-called “dishonest, lying comments” are?
What “false claims about what (your) position” have I made?
And if you “don’t have faith in science” then where is your “MOUNTAINS of evidence to support” evolution?
Where is ANY OBSERVABLE EVIDENCE to support this THEORY that you believe?
Finally, if there is no God, please explain how any action you take or decision you make IS NOT how I described above?

    Waiting……

  • October 28, 2013 at 3:39am

Apollyon, funny….I believe I quoted you word for word and responded to it. Claiming that you did not say it? People only have to read your original post to see who is being dishonest here.

As for sorting fact and fiction…where is your evidence?
You accept more things on faith to believe the THEORY of evolution, than I do in knowing God is there.

And this statement: “The average American 10 year old understand more about how the world works than the wisest man in their age.”

Really? Ask a 10-year-old how the Egyptian pyramids were built.
Those idiot Egyptians seem to muddle through that somehow.

And what is a “rich, happy, meaningful, full” life to an atheist?

In a Godless world, there is no soul because the soul is a supernatural thing.

Therefore, no God equals no soul, no free will, no purpose. Your decisions are nothing but electrical impulses. Your entire life was pre-determined the moment the “big bang” occurred.

And you are going to die. So even if you were the most successful and famous atheist that ever lived, you will be a pile of dirt in 100 years. That is the final destination of your “meaningful” life.

So if I’m wrong and your are right. We both end up as piles of dirt. I’m very happy believing in my Creator. In fact, He makes my life more rich, more happy, and more meaningful. If you have a problem with that, oh well…

However, if I’m right and your wrong. Well, you will have a bit of explaining to do.
