wow...I have a video security system that cost me around $200 to set up myself. Just plain stupid to have something worth being in a safe and not having video.

What a great app ! If the government used this they could just mail your tickets to your house and save money on setting up speed traps. Unfortunately, after the third day, they would ask me to mail them my license.

I don’t think the boy or girl who pours my coffee is in a position to set any agenda by scribbling on my cup.

I would be very surprised if a “High Ranking Democrat”, would find any republican acceptable to run for public office, including Christ himself (I don’t think He’s registered, but He has voted a straight Republican ticket since Reagan)

Why do so many insist that the system will be better if we spend more money on it… this foolishness has been going on for generations, along with blaming the teachers. The combined faculties of Harvard and Yale can’t teach fourth grade without the help of the parents, but no one is willing to stand up and place the blame where it belongs…in the home.
Shut up. You have no clue what that small blue line represents. It represents first responders, i.e. law enforcement upholding our nations Constitution, morals and values. It's not art, it a national symbol.
Here in the Federal Bureau of Prisons, when one of our Brothers are killed while serving the public's safety and keeping the rapist and murders off your streets, we display that very symbol in honoring that brother's sacrifice. We are law enforcers too. So please go educate your ignorant self before you make a fool of yourself again

Only a traitor would sit idly by and watch while his country was sold down the river.
The cops get perjury and conspiracy, and the lawyers get perjury, conspiracy and malicious prosecution. Jail time all.

One player indicated that his parents had attended one game, but were too busy to go to others. Therein lies the problem with our public schools. A local (NY) story about under-performing schools suggested that more funds be spent on these schools, that the teachers be given remedial programs to follow, or outside organizations be given control of the administration. Taken point-by-point to give each theory equal time…Bull****. Bull****, Bull****.
You could take the faculty of Harvard or Yale and put them in front of these kids and get equally poor results. Stories abound of middle school students who are attending their sixth or seventh school, parents who not only don’t know the teachers name but don’t know the name of the school their children attend…”The bus picks ‘em up in the mornin an drops ‘em off at night.”, or of teachers sending out invitations to parents to discuss students progress and receiving not one response.
Look to the schools that do perform well and you’ll find the same budget and the same mix of teachers. Find a way to give incentives to parents and the problem will disappear.
the attendance at Tornado games has nothing to do with the problems our public schools have.
It's not a "public school".
it's a correctional facility for youth felony offenders.
it's a prison. these kids don't go home at night. the prison is their home.
I agree, except for finding a way to give "incentives" to parents. It is the JOB of the parents to participate, and they should WANT to participate for the good of their child. Incentives are what you give to children not to grown adults.
Also, when my kids were in school, the teachers were moaning and groaning about the lack of parental support. The teachers needed "help" doing THEIR job, so I'd volunteer, but when I showed up at the designated time the teachers didn't have diddly squat for me to do. I drove out there to make 6 (SIX!) copies on their copy machine!!!
Bottom line is EVERYONE needs to do their JOB!
