  Hillary is going to be thrown under the bus, along with the rest of the State Dept by our Blamer in Chief over Benghazi. And Issa is handling these hearings, along with incredibly brilliant assisstance from Chaffetz and Goudy. After the next round of explosive whistleblower testimonies (Stinger missile retrieval to clean up Hillary’s mess anyone?), those actually in Benghazi testify and all the information comes out, then, and only then Issa will recall Hillary, willingly or by subpoena and she will have explain the lie after lie she spewed in her first hearing earlier this year. And a particular highlight Im’ sure will be clarification of ” what a difference it does make” to know what happened– actually I suspect that phrase will get used quite a bit.

  After all the attention Hillary directed in the 2008 primaries to her “3:00AM call commercial”, Clinton and Obama clearly screwed up royally before during and after the Benghazi terrorist attacks on 9/11 and I’d say shes far from a lock to win anything.

  Exactly how can you possibly have the impression that we dont trust the government but we do trust the media? Especially libertarians and conservatives, whose positions and values are not as well represented in the strongly dominated liberal/progressive media, there is a constant scrutiny of the media. However, your post that tries to make some sort of equivalence between distrust of the government and the media is fatally flawed. Our government is a monopoly – and a bullying one at that – especially with people like Obama in the Oval Office and Eric Holder running the DOJ. But the media???? Not only is there tremendous diversity in formats (television, radio, print, digital) but in each of these formats there are countless players. The growth and tremendous successes of a more diverse news media over the past 10-15 years with the initial explosions of Fox News and Limbaugh and Hannity and then Drudge and now the second wave with Becks dynasty, Breitbart,, Daily Caller has made my point even stronger. So no, to refute your point, corruption and intimidation in our govt is far more dangerous, far more serious than any issues in the media.

  If Piers didnt jump to exploit every crisis that supports the progressive items that are important to him it would look like he was taking the high road today with Loesch. But does anyone think for one minute that if this was a gun death in the US that he wouldnt be leaping to exploit this for his gun control agenda? Because of this I have no problem with Loesch’s original Tweet or her defending herself against Morgans hypocrisy and phony mourning and sadness.
