    I take exception to that remark. I’ve been a musician all my life. Played my first professional (paid) gig when I was 18 (1974). Was married at 22. Shortly before I got married I started working for the local Dept. of Transportation. Started out as a laborer and advanced to truck driver. Started playing music most every weekend by age 25. Continued that until age 50. Kept working regular jobs throughout most of this time. Played my last gig on New Year’s Eve 2006. And still working. And haven’t had health insurance since 1985 when I left the D.O.T. I was out of work from 98 to 06 but I was also playing 4-5 nights a week and making fairly good money. More than I am now working 7 days a week. I’ve always managed to take care of things when I needed and only had to draw unemployment one time for 3 months before finding work again. Ended up paying that all back because I overlapped a week of unemployment when I started a new job. I needed money to get through until the first paycheck but the gov’t. didn’t like that. So I paid them back and said never again. I’ll starve and go homeless before I take another gubmint handout.

    Sure there are some musicians that would love what Pelosi said. But most that I know worked regular jobs along with gigging as much as they can.

    So, in short I’m saying screw Pelosi and screw ObamaCare.

    Perhaps you should re-read the article instead of just the first 2 sentences.

    “Now, Malkin is thinking those same thoughts again.

    In the blog post, Malkin let her readers into the world of medical uncertainty and worry she has been facing as her teen daughter is facing breathing issues and doctors do not know yet what’s causing it:

    Just before Mother’s Day weekend, however, she started having what appeared to be respiratory trouble. She “couldn’t get a good breath” and began gently gasping and sighing for air every few minutes. Two trips to the ER later, she had been administered ibuprofen for “costochondritis” and then albuterol to open up her airways.

    The problem is that all the various tests and exams indicate she’s getting plenty of oxygen. Her lungs, heart and vocal cords are all “normal,” and yet she describes a chronic feeling that she’s “drowning.” Every day begins with gasping beyond her control, multiple times a minute, nonstop, every hour of every day, until she reaches a point of exhaustion at 1 or 2 in the morning.

    After a brief respite while sleeping, the day-mare starts all over again.

    Malkin went on to say that breathing itself is not the only issue anymore either. Veronica, she said, has choked while eating and drinking due to this condition as well.

    “It has been agonizing to watch her suffer while waiting weeks and months on end to see an increasingly short supply of specialists,” she wrote. “It is more agonizing knowing that, despite obta

    Just read this article, Saul. There were 4 of 5 patent holders of Freescale Semiconductor of Austin, TX on that flight.

    @Barber2 – They already got money.

    And instead of calling is class act friend Rachel Jeantel, why didn’t he call the police to report a “creepy ass cracka” following him?

    Just another push for one world religion to go hand in hand with the one world government prophesied for the end times.

    @SocialismSuxEveryday – Do some homework man. F&F had nothing to do with Ambassador Stevens. F&F was not a Bush administration operation. Bush’s program was called “Gun Walker” and had the cooperation of the Mexican government. That makes a big difference compared to the illegal gun running that Holder is guilty of doing. Plus Mexico is a far cry from Libya. And that’s where Ambassador Stevens’ problems began when we started arming the rebels in Libya, also known as Al Queda. Now the same rebel factions are in Syria and we’ll be arming them, if we’re not arming them already. Also during the Libya debacle there went “missing” some 20,000 RPGs which is probably what Stevens was trying to get back when the attack occurred on the CIA compound.

    @CDN1979 – I won’t resort to calling you an idiot but did it even occur to you to click on the highlighted link for WOAI that was conveniently included in the article? Here, I’ll make it easy for ya!

    Maybe being the False Prophet would be a better fit than the Anti-Christ since the Anti-Christ will be a political figure and the False Prophet would be a religious figure.

    But if you do a little research you’ll find that the Volt and Cadillac operations are being moved to China where 7 out of 10 GM products are produced outside of the USA. Perhaps this is why the shut down is happening so they can get out.

    It’s great to see Daphne’s post that this post was a reply to has been removed. I wonder why? I thought the idea was to expose these fraudsters?

    “You people need to learn a thing or two about Global Warming.”
    Perhaps it is you who needs to learn a thing or two. You’re a freaking alarmist and control freak.

    You’re also a eugenicist.

    From your own sick website.

    Stop Having Children
    “Children are as cute as all get-out, but have you ever really considered how much carbon one child puts into the atmosphere?”
    “Until governments wake up and start passing “one child per-family” laws, the best way you can help reduce the collective Carbon Footprint is through voluntary sterilization.”

    You sound like Communist China and Margaret Sanger all rolled into one.

    Read the other crap she has on this sick website. It pushes ridiculous crap like slow down your breathing to reduce CO2, pre-plan your pet’s death and kill them before they get too old. This isn’t even putting an animal down to put it out of its misery. It’s animal eugenics. And here’s the stupidity in this by having yearly celebrations up to the death date. And speaking of crap, they advocate using an old used kitchen sponge to wipe your ass to reduce paper consumption. She calls this a “Reusable Toilet Sponge”. No thanks! I’ll keep my Charmin if you don’t mind.

    You are a sick and disgusting person.

    People, if you want to see how sick these eco-fascists really are then go here:

    More accurately on your religious analogy:

    Soros = Satan
    Obama = The Anti-Christ
    Jeremiah Wright/Jim Wallis = The False Prophet
    Reid, Pelosi, Conyers, Weiner, Wu, Grayson, Stern, Trumpka and all the rest of the libs/progs/marxists/commies, etc. = The Demonic Spirits in the abyss.

    In June of 2008 I purchased a 2006 Chrysler Town and County van. I have just made my 37th payment at $450.03 a month. Since June of 06 I have spent out-of-pocket (not including warranty work) just as much money in repairs as I have spent on the loan up to this date including rebuilding the engine last August and replacing said engine this last April. And most of the warranty work was repeated up to 3 times. Chryslers are crap.

    At least she says she’ll step down if the proof comes out the same way NY Congressman Chris Lee is resigning for posting shirtless pics on Craig’s List. Unlike the pervert Idaho Senator Larry Craig who was caught in a Minneapolis airport bathroom trying to hit on a cop in a stall. He wouldn’t step down and says he did nothing wrong. At least these Republicans are showing a modicum of dignity unlike Liberals who think behavior like this is okay and condone it as well.

    “After the president’s surrogates had 3 days to attack the majority of citizens, he is trying to get a speech that brings us together. he is rehearsing. Real leadership would have had the president speaking hours after and letting his people accuse us for days first. Too late Mr. president, you lost another opportunity to lead.”

    Obummer is probably trying to think of who he’s going to give a shout-out to like he did when he finally spoke about the Ft. Hood incident. What a buffoon! I don’t give a crap what he has to say at this point because it’s all going to lead to more regulations and more lost freedoms.
